Social in Highschool

Last night I dreamed that I was able to take comfortably to people in my old high school. I was always shy in high school, and can still be shy at times. It was nice to feel comfortable around people I never have felt comfortable around before.

Maybe at my 10 year reunion (about 2 years from now)I will be able to have a good time without worrying about what people think of me.

that is a major breakthrough, what do you think triggered you to overcome these fears after so long?

The way I tried to overcome my fears is a lot of hard work and concentration. I forced myself to start talking to people.

It's taken several years to be where I am now in this area in my life. I still haven't overcome it completely though, and I still feel embarrassed around different types of people. I think it's because I feel inferior to them, even though in my mind I know I'm not inferior.
