I have decided to try a ghost hunt in cemetarys and try to catch some ghost in windows of old buildings.

My Plan:

There are many cemetary's in my area and buildings/towns dating back at least into the mid 1800's that are still standing. Cemetarys as well. My plan is to travel around my county and using a video camera (film type) and digital still camera and see what I can capture.

Using some of my ideas for equipment and some mentioned from others on here I will take with me:

Film type video camera,
Still digital camera,
compass,
Static field meter,
infrared thermometer,
Tape recorder with remote mike,
Note pad and pen to record conditions and other data.

I will use this thread to report what I find.
Suggestions are welcome.

Wish me luck (for those who believe in that stuff) LOL..

My local county here in Pennsylvania. Not as old as England of course however, it is close and has history. As I travel around on vacation (holiday) If I see an old cemetery I will stop and take pictures hoping to catch something. So far no luck... I also heard that if your really wanting to see one, you will not.. hmmm lol.

That's what I've heard too, YB.

Go in with the idea that your just taking photos of the surrounding area and maybe then, you'll have your ghost photos.

Pennsylvania should have some awesome places to check out!

Good Luck!

Yes, I have, it's pretty wild.

Went all through Tombstone quite a few years back. Didn't take any photos back then though.

YB, since your from the states I'm sure you have watched Ghost Hunters.
They visited The Bird Cage Theater and got some footage of some 'strange' happenings.

I think you can see the footage on their site. I'm not sure though.

I watched the bird cage episode, I don't trust those guys to much. Seems the camera's are always pointing at the crew and never where the action is. Not saying things don't happen, however, it is television so I believe a lot goes on just to make the show look interesting if you know what I mean.

We got a new guy in our Lab a few weeks back. I asked him if he believes in ghosts, he said he never use to till he moved into his new house. The story he told me is as follows:

The guy who owned the house died in it before it was finished. The new guy Eric, 26, bought the place. The only thing in the house was an old poker table and a rockin chair. Eric asked his buddy to assist him in taking the old chair outside and burn it. As they both grabbed the chair they got what felt like their hands going numb, tingly electric type, his buddy jumped back from the chair and Eric let it go. Weird feelings came over them. Eric carried the chair out to the porch. Feeling that it was the previous owner not wanting him to burn the chair, he told him that he was just going to set it on the porch. The chair still remains there to this day.

I will soon be visiting the house and hopefully will capture something. I told Eric to move the chair back into the house the day before I visit. Let's all hope the old guy like's to have his picture taken Twisted Evil

Crying or Very sad Well... it is raining out, however, I am still going. Hopefully I can get some time in. Wednesday may be better for a few reasons, the weather will be better, it will be a new Moon (magnetic fields of earth will be more favorable) and the times should be better, between 8pm and Midnight.

Hopefully I will get lucky today. More to come later...

Don't get too excited. Did'nt have much time after dark due to closings of the cemetary entrances. I got a few orbs and some interesting stones. Orb photos, wind: calm, weather: clear, May be dust, you decide. It will be a day or so till I get to the video and see what I got.

Click on the pic to enlarge:

Ok, center picture, bottom right of picture... I think if that is what your talking about, it probably is matrixing. I did notice another dull orb though, cant be dust cause it so appears to be next to a headstone in the back of the picture, 2 stones behind the biggest stone near the bottom left.

What do ya think?
