Savannah is "America's 1st Planned City" and as such was built with a system of "squares" or parks built at even intervals throughout. It is also believed by many to be "America's Most Haunted City." see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savannah,_Georgia and scroll down to "Squares." Most of the pictures from the walking tour are along Calhoun Square, the last square leading away from the historic district along Abercorn Street just north of Highway U.S. 80. It is an extremely haunted portion of town for the following reason: The city's desecration of a cemetery containing in excess of 100,000 of Savannah's dead in the early 19th century due to the sudden boom of the Georgia cotton industry. The expansion was too much too fast for the city to control properly. So they simply tore down the stones, brought in enough wire mesh to cover the 15 acres, sodded...and began construction over the dead. This is as it was related to us by the tour company, Sixth Sense Savannah. Here is the link to my album from this tour: http://www.flickr.com/photos/organize/?start_tab=sets . I welcome comments and discussion of each image. If you follow the links, you should be able to load them full size ( Click "All Sizes" ). Start by double clicking the album cover on the left. Hope you enjoy them! |

Aeronox, you may have to post a link to each pic. Flickr can be a pain at times. |

I took a quick magnified look, nothing "jumped" out at me. When I get more time I may play with them some and see what I can find. |

That's amazing because although there are obviously multiple entities in the photo, the main story behind the tale of 432 Abercorn was of a little girl who died there because her father, a former Confederate officer, forced her to sit in front of one of the large windows as punishment for what he deemed her inappropriate behavior at the dinner table. It gets very hot and humid in Savannah during the summer months and of course, there was no air conditioning in the 19th century. Her father allowed her to die there of fatique and dehydration (most likely heat exhaustion). I see five entities in the upper left window, one the lower left and one in the upper right. Anther tale behind the house's history is that it was leased to a group of people in the 1960's. The next morning, Savannah awoke to find a large banner hung stating, "1st Savannah Church of Satan!" So check out ALL the windows on 163 ( I've also uploaded an enlarged version of the same picture (see DSC00163E). If you double click on the pics, it will open the pic. Then there is a link above it labeled, " All Sizes," which will open it full size. Then there is a link allowing you to download the pic where you can scroll the enlargement as much as you are allowed to.
Next, I'd like to call your attention to the photo, DSC00166. There are two, maybe three entities looking out the window. They look demonic to me. Download and enlarge this one to see them; you will see them if you study it just a couple minutes. |

Wow Flossy, I had not noticed her or the others in that pic! I saw what I thought was something I couldn't really make out in that back room and I didn't give the area in the front room much, if any attention. You knocked me right out of my chair with that observation!! |
