Hello everyone!
I joined this evening and have been reading over the
forums.
I'm a bit overwhelmed!
I literally know nothing of the paranormal.
I have never had any type of an experience, so as you can imagine I feel a bit out of place.
I have read some of the stories/experiences and I must say, my interest is aroused to say the least.
There is so much to read and digest.
I hope I don't embarrass myself with awkward questions.
Oh...my friends gave me the nickname "jejune" so I'll go with that.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi JJ, and welcome. Anything you're unsure of just ask, though in all fairness we're unsure of it too! |

Welcome to the forum Jejune!
Usually I would ask for you to share your experiences.
Guess you don't apply!
Keep an open mind, ask questions and have fun!
Everyone on this forum are great people.
Enjoy!!

Thanks Solstice!
I've been reading allot of your posts on the Castles.
By chance are you and Pamela mates?
The photographs of the castles you two have posted are just amazing!
(You don't see things like that here on the islands!)

Hi Pamela, thanks for the welcome!
As I mentioned to Solstice, you both have some great photographs of castles.
The history these castles have to offer is over whelming.
Thanks so much for bringing that part of the world closer.

Hi flossy, you all have made me feel very welcome on this site.
I have snooped around other paranormal sites but found them cold.
You all seem like a very friendly bunch! |

"on the job training"
I like that!
Right now I'm with a small group of marine biologist working around the Hawaiian Islands.
I don't have much free time so I'll be on maybe once or twice a week if I'm lucky.
Thanks for the welcome! |

Thanks bitterbuck1.
Guess I'm a bit of a dud on the experience part.
What I have had time to read on the stories/experiences that have been posted are amazing!
There is allot to read over. |

I just read a piece on the Goddess of fire from there, Pele, suppose to be the one that controls the lava and there is a curse on removing lava rock from the islands. Interesting story on her apparition appearing to many people. |

I've only been on the Islands for 2 weeks now. I just came off an assignment in Greenland. So I am just now learning about the area.
At the moment I am staying with a colleague and his family and they are telling me about the history of the islands and their beginnings.
They have mentioned of the Marchers or Night Marchers here also, not sure which Island or Islands this occurs. They also have touched on the subject of Pele.
Should be getting some time off here soon and my hosts are planning a "field trip" for me to visit these sites. |

We're mates through this site. Had the pleasure of Pamela's company on a trip to caerphilly castle last weekend, she certainly knows her stuff! |
