Thanks for answering Aiden, however, a few things that confuse me, the very premise of being a vampire is that you're the undead, and of course that gives rise to the issue that you cannot be born as such, and if neither of your parents are vampires, how could you have been conceived as one?
Good question... Being a vampire is not speciel in terms of genetics. In other words, you don’t need to have vampire parents to be a vampire. It’s what the Universe has created you as, that’s all.

furthermore, when you are undead, then surely you would have no need for normal food?
Vampires are alive as any other human. It’s possible that some vampires are like zombies, which are already dead. But I don’t know of any.

At what age did you start to believe you were a vampire and how does it all work, for example you've already said that you feed off people's energy, yet they don't know about it, so I suppose I'm just a bit sceptical as to what is actually allegedly happening from your point of view and from those you are "feeding" from!
I think I knew –deep down inside- that I was a vamp as a teen. But I wasn’t so sure. I’m just like a sanguine, except that I don’t need to drink blood. Either you know that you’re a vampire or not!

Try reading from the link:
http://vampiresarereal.tripod.com/id6.html

Personally, the energy I absorb is from a willing person. The truth is: a vampire could suck the life out of another person. But it’s unlikely.

Have you ever thought of being a sanguine yourself?

No...then I'll have to subscribe to Vampire Weekly, find a blood supplier, and have endless cravings for blood at 3am... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Well there are many theorys suroounding the concept of vampires. I know of someone (a freind of a freind) who claimns to be a vampire. Now from what i've heard from my freind he has all the symptons of vampirism. He cannot go out in sunlight often (popular to beleife that if vampires go out in sunlight they will be burnt to a crisp, i dont think this is true), he drinks blood sometimes, and he dosent go near anything connected with God (crosses, churches etc)

Afaik bitter there is only one type of werewolf. They can come in many different shapes, sizes and colors though. I cant be too sure about this, but i will research some more and get back to you id i find anything.

Intresting Fact: The proper term for werewolf is lycanthorpe :)

welcome to the forums khai.

Yes vampires are true and they do exist. My best mates friend is one (a sanguine which is a vampire who physically feeds) and there are many know others out there. I dont personally beleive you can "become" one. Yes you can go around drinking blood out of people if you know how to but that dosent really define a vampire. From what ive learned from my best freind, vampires get chronic headaches in sunlight (bang goes the turns-to-dust theory eh guys?) also there are in constant paranoia of hurting there loved ones. People argue wether they need blood to survive or not. Well, personally i dont think they do, but they would have very bad days, and a pissed off vampire is not something id like to meet in a dark alley way. Some vampires are also know to feed off the blood of animals...lets call these "vegeterians" (no guys i didnt get this from twilight it is actually true!). Many vampires beleive that you are born into it rather than made. But thats just one theory, im not sure about this theory there are still many mysteries surrounding it, for example how can one be born with vampire genes? do they get chosen or is it random?

To summarise i dont think vampires can be just made, maybe they can but they would have to spend years learning self control to be around humans, where as if your born as one you can start learning as soon as your old enough.

Twilight vampires do not burn in the sun(burning was one of the main identifying traits of a vampire because they can only come out during the night, and night is considered a time of fear), they sparkle(an enormous downsize and transition into femininity) they also do not have fangs(another major Vampire trait, how else does the monster bite down into your flesh and tear you apart?) and the main characters feel bad for humans(Vampires have no soul, therefore they have no emotion, or can shut off they emotion at will. Edward states he has no emotion, but then says he loves Bella.

Vampires exist in three places - Books, films and heads.

personally i think it's nonsense.

it's in conflict with my faith

i do not belief in good/bad thing like hell/heaven it's just to gray scaled and to human metric to be even close to the true.

good/bad is just programed within child, some people think eating a cookie is evil, while others see it as reward, simple example.

their for vampires are just nonsense.
people who think they are real, or think they are "vampire" in nature most likely have a disorder within their brains, without health problems.

just my 2 cents

i for one believe there are different types of "vampire"
they seem to pop up all over the world too, after all just look at the christian tradition of breaking bread and wine, this is supposed to be the body and blood of christ. there are still reports of vampiric activity but it all seem to get covered up!
how mny people go missing without a trace???
possible victims??

Welcome to the forum Riffy.

I for one do not believe in vampires as portrayed in movies or otherwise.

I do believe that there are some folks that practice bloodletting
and call themselves a vampire.
Don't understand why they would do this unless it is for shock
value.

As for people missing, this could range from kidnapping for the sex trade, murder, or the frequent runaway.
Among numerous other possibilities.

Confused

Hi Riffy and welcome Very Happy

I agree with Bitter on the Vampire issue. Vampires pop up all over the world due to the evolution of the mass communication media (such as books & films) over the last 100 years.
The Catholic belief in transubstantiation has very little to do with
Vampiric beliefs - one could equally say that eating bread and drinking wine in a religious sense adds validation the reality of flesh eating Zombies Rolling Eyes
There are indeed reports of 'vampire activity' but these are either delusional individuals who've watched too many movies or people suffering a psychosis and in need of professional medical help.

People also do go missing without a trace but I don't see how you're linking this to Vampires unless you're, as I suspect, making a huge leap in logic and suggesting that Vampires are drinking them. Fortunately there's absolutely no proof that this is the case.

If you wanna chew the fat over Vampires or Werewolves I'd be very interested in your views on the subject.
