a ghost is able to use electomagnetic energy along with negative ions in able to send charges out and insome way manipulte its enviroment as a way to interacting with its environment.

You know this for definate? Where did you learn this? Any published papers?.
I'm not being funny Iain but for someone to say that they know the physics behind the manifestation of ghosts is on a par with a religious believer saying that they know what god wants of us.

DB

PS I don't believe in god.

I have a stunning idea. instead of sitting on the wall dictating what isn't and what is and judging and questioning the reserch of qualified paranormal investigators. Jump into the nett and do some reserch, Im getting bored of feeding you information so that you can reply with childish replys as to why Im wrong or asking me for information conserning other peoples (and Im talking about leading world scientist here) experements. For example einstein was an avid parapsychologist to name but one. You have to gain the knowledge of both sides or a subject in order to have a direct and knowledgable oppinion. Its easy to dought, but much harder to prove. Read up on the psychology of parapsychology. Or the science of paranormality. There are very many books and such like which will feed your thirst. Then open a discussion with amunition to support both views. I have studied quantum mechanics, atomic and sub-atomic theory, as well as studying several bibles and have an obsession with gaining evidence either way. That is to say I am a TRUE skeptic. I have experienced things I have not been able to explain as well as many things I have. It appears to me that your blinkers are very well afixed and its you who needs to study the paranormal before concluding your oppinion. A discussion is two sided and to meirly reply to my comments with obviouse questions is to be honest quite boring and time consuming on MY part. Do the relevant study and come back with reall constructive debate. I did.

qualified paranormal investigators.

Is there such a qualification? I doubt it.

childish replys

Give me an instance of a childish reply.

Im talking about leading world scientist here

Which ones besides Jim Kennedy, have I missed something? you've referenced one and I wouldn't count him as a leading world scientist Iain.

For example einstein was an avid parapsychologist to name but one.

Albert Einstein was not nor never claimed to be a parapsychologist.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein

You have to gain the knowledge of both sides or a subject in order to have a direct and knowledgable oppinion.

Correct and I agree there Iain otherwise ones opinions are biased and one sided and not balanced. I started off as a fervent believer in the paranormal, ghosts, UFO's etc. I'd fight the man (at one time) that said there were no such things as ghosts.

Read up on the psychology of parapsychology. Or the science of paranormality.

I've been doing that for the last 30 odd years Iain. I've recommended books to you that you'll say you'll read. Maybe when you've read them you'll have a different perspective.

I am a TRUE skeptic

You're not a sceptic Iain because you believe in ghosts, psychic abilities and other things that there is (as yet) no valid scientific evidence for. Look up the definition of Sceptic and compare it to your belief in the paranormal.

It appears to me that your blinkers are very well afixed and its you who needs to study the paranormal before concluding your oppinion.

I'm very much open minded and open to persuasion by valid evidence. As soon as I see the 'blinkered' or 'you're closed minded' accusation, and believe me I've seen many I kinda get disheartened because the person saying it has obviously lost any ability to debate the subject further in a logical way.

Do the relevant study and come back with reall constructive debate. I did.

I think I've demonstrated that I've done my studying - you've not.

1,I have a diploma in parapsychology.
2, The constant asking for evidence of simple paranormal points " if youd read the books you'd already know them".
3,United States National Science Foundation,United States National Science Foundation,Australia's Monash University to name but a few.
4,a,“I cannot seriously believe in quantum theory because it cannot be reconciled with the idea that physics should represent a reality in time and space, free from spooky actions at a distance.” - Albert Einstein
Just a clip from a moment in his life where he toiled with the idia of the paranormal.
b,
Concerning dowsing, Albert Einstein said, “I know very well that many scientists consider dowsing as they do astrology, as a type of ancient superstition. According to my conviction this is, however, unjustified. The dowsing rod is a simple instrument which shows the reaction of the human nervous system to certain factors which are unknown to us at this time”.

5,You say that you used to believe in ghosts, but now you dont. A skeptic believes in all things but attempts to proove all too. I still believe in both.

1. Where from?

2.What books? - you were the one on a previous post asking for recommended reading.

3.I don't know what your answer here relates to Iain. Could you clarify?

4.Einstein was referring to the ideomotor effect.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor_effect

5.I don't think you understand what a sceptic is. Log onto Bad Psychics - you'll see me and many others on there that understand that scepticism is a methodology not a belief. We discuss the things you think you understand in quite a lot of detail using logic and evidence.

1, Sheffiels University.
2, Im adding my books at a later date. I was asking for books as I wanted new reading.
3, Ye apparant paranormal occurances.Jump to: navigation, search
The ideomotor effect is a psychological phenomenon wherein a subject makes motions unconsciously. As in reflexive responses to pain, the body sometimes reacts reflexively to ideas alone without the person consciously deciding to take action. For instance, tears are produced by the body unconsciously in reaction to powerful emotions. Automatic writing, dowsing, facilitated communication, and Ouija boards have also been attributed to the effect of this phenomenon. Mystics have often attributed this motion to paranormal or supernatural force. Many subjects are unconvinced that their actions are originating solely from within themselves.
4, I do not believe in ghosts, I have a interest that there is an unknown force or life energy. To search for the unknown is to research the paranormal. I am a skeptic too. I just dont discount either view.
