Hi Bitter,
I ment exotic as in somewhere fancy to make the experience more scary like a graveyard or disused warehouse.
That would make me a little more nervous and so prone to geting scared easier perhaps by unfamiluar sounds or animals ect.
I would get a proper board, a couple of freinds and do it in the house with the light on and I would make a packt, all agree on no cheating.
It's not something I really want to do but if the chance arose then I would try it.

Laughing
I understand, location would make a big difference! My mind
would be going out of control if I was in a graveyard using the board.

I think people should be careful with ouji boards, I think most of the time it is peoples subconcious or nothing, but sometimes there could be something actually communicating, and what they are saying including who and what they they are mey or may not be true, and their intentions could be bad. I have read somewhere, if you are using one and the spirit ever asks can it come into your house, or your life or something similar, put the board away immediately and don't use it again. A human spirit would never ask that, only an inhuman spirit would and for only one purpose: to make your life a living hell.

I enjoyed that link there Cactus, very intesteing.
The bit about automatic writing was strange as it says you actually become possesed by the spirit. I wonder how one goes about that and what the heck would make someone attempt it??

I must admit if a spirit asked me if it could enter the house, I likley would have said yes. opps.

Mine too Bitter.

Hi there all,
Sorry to pull up an old post like this one here but has any one noticed that Chandru009 has vanished?
From this thread it looks like he dissapeared last september.

I would try a weigy board but not on my own and not in a graveyard or exotic location.

Members come and go. You vanished for a good while AgentScott - no one suggested you were dead Crying or Very sad why should you assume Chanru has passed away?.
And what's an exotic location - the Seychelles, Barnsley, the local 'massage' parlour?.

Agentscott, have you ever seen the film 'the others' - remember at the end when they meet the others having a seance; the old lady was automatic writing - it is just another form of communication with spirits.

Yes people come and go and all that but I thought it was quite funny that this guy stops posting for good in the middle of a weigy thread.
Never said dead DB??
Incedently I didn't really go anywhere, I was still reading occasionally.
Sometimes thesedays I prefer just to read.

I already explained what I ment by exotic location.

It's hard to say but those are real haunted locations she visits so maybe. They definatly know how to get people scared leading them in to the seance like prisners ect.
Eight out of ten from me!
Yvette definatly makes the show, tempting in those ghosts.

The title is a bit silly as i'm sure there are other ways but it was worth a look.
Or ghost hunting with corrie! Enjoyed that too.
See if it's on you tube Cactus, it's not as good as that ghost adventures though.

Cool avatar, to scary for me though so I went for a fresh new haunting look..the pacghost! Very Happy

It's a well known fact among TV producers - ghosts are dying to appear on shows like that Very Happy

lol Laughing It's the creeper from Jeepers Creepers - I loved that film, although the second one was rubbish.

A show you can watch on youtube is celebrity ghost stories - I'm watching my way through it at the moment - some really interesting ones.
