out of all haunted places i have ever seen, experienced, hotels, churches, my home, on the coast, can you even dare enter this place from standing outside.
I still get nightmares and chills from the first time i looked at this house.
It is in suffolk, near the coastal area of thorpeness. Along a very straight road from leiston that goes straight to thorpeness, there is turn in. If you are driving towards thorpeness from leiston direction on the straight road you will see a bread and breakfast sign. That is the turn in area. Keep driving down the road, it is a far drive. Alot of trees may be covering it now but you will still see it.
My dad once went inside and said everything is still there from when the person died, after almost being traped inside he managed to get out, you know things like the way out of the house wont open, someone coming down the stairs e.g . The stories i have heard about the place are very frightning, i was told aparently about a man who was loosng all his money, his wife left him and when she came back he killed her and he hung himself, but i realy do not know that true, but hearing how angry the ghost of this house is and when i mean angry or restless, i mean very. On some nights you go there as far as i remember i use to go see the outside after playing golf on the way back from thorpeness golfclub, it was clear nights but outside that house just in it,s area was huge amounts of mist, and just in the house area, and i always felt a nasty presence just being outside.
For ghost hunters this is a recomend, especially to go there at night, this house will realy test your spirit, and belive me you will leave with someform of experience, without a doubt. But it is very secret, which makes it even scarier, but you can see the top of it on google earth.
i guarante this for anyone interested in ghosts or paranormal experiences, it,s like a very very nasty horror movie house. About the stories of what the man done, aparently it was once in the papers, but i am not fully sure of the story, something obviously happened to drive a ghost this mad and keep any property devlopers coming near the place without running away screaming as i was told lol |

Yes.
My dad once went inside and said everything is still there from when the person died, after almost being traped inside he managed to get out, you know things like the way out of the house wont open, someone coming down the stairs e.g .
Can you tell us how long ago this happened and a bit more about his experience?
The stories i have heard about the place are very frightning, i was told aparently about a man who was loosng all his money, his wife left him and when she came back he killed her and he hung himself, but i realy do not know that true, but hearing how angry the ghost of this house is and when i mean angry or restless, i mean very
The key word here is 'stories'. These are just anecdotal accounts. Most large towns have several of these properties that over the years have accumulated ghost stories. Each time the story is told and retold, elements are added to it or taken away, like Chinese Whispers, so that whatever grains of truth may or may not have been originally there have been lost or certainly altered in the telling and re-telling.
it was clear nights but outside that house just in it,s area was huge amounts of mist, and just in the house area, and i always felt a nasty presence just being outside.
If the house is in open ground that may be damper or warmer than the surrounding area then on clear cold nights and under certain conditions a localised mist is very possible. This has nothing to do with the supernatural and everything to do with the natural.
Feeling a nasty presence is purely subjective and probably influenced by what is known about the house's reputation for being spooky and haunted. I feel a nasty presence when I'm around Beetroot - it makes me feel physically sick.
For ghost hunters this is a recomend, especially to go there at night, this house will realy test your spirit, and belive me you will leave with someform of experience, without a doubt.
If people go to any location with their belief in ghosts already a given and with prior knowledge of that locations reputation then I'd be very surprised if they didn't see and feel ghosts - it happens all the time - just look at Most Haunted as a prime example. Why anyone would want to conduct a proper investigation of an allegedly haunted location solely at night is beyond me and it's one of the biggest mistakes made by the 'ghost hunting' community.
Investigate during the day when visibility is at its best and pay a visit at night if it's deemed necessary and to test anything that may not have been apparent with research and the full daylight investigation.
But it is very secret, which makes it even scarier, but you can see the top of it on google earth.
I don't see why it's location being a secret is going to make it scarier?.

i am not fully sure of the name of the place, my dad told me he went there with my mother years and years ago, and he ran out of the house absolutely terrified, one day i think i might go in and see this place, it looks horrible, rotten but interesting, he did say everything has been left the same to when the person died, i however find when a location is secret i find it more to be frightning, well atleast more interesting, due to the unknown of it. But i can definetly say that it is one of those strange places, without a doubt. |

Fair enough but without any more information we can't look into it.

Presumably you're referring to the B1353 here. I've been all the way along it on StreetView and don't see a B&B sign. I'm not sure what you mean by a 'turn in area' unless it's this. Either way could you post a StreetView link that shows the location, assuming it's visible from the road? |

Would have been great if you had taken
pictures of the building and surrounding area. |
