Here's a recent case featured on TV with Professor Chris French and an investigator and a woman who claims she's been plagued by ghosts for 7 years.
See what you think and post your comments.

My friend’s mother used to see live soldiers of World War 2 passing through walls in her house in Texas. There are several other people live in that house and none has seen any such things. From the information she provides, none can say that she is making up stories or lying. Though I am skeptical about the incidents, I have no other option that trusting her as she is not lying.

Good old Philip schofeild he seemed very neutral and open to both sides of the argument which is where I stand.
He didn't write anything of because it sounds weird. Best place to be.
The womeon seemed concerned and genuine so thats good to.
The skeptic seemed to closed to anything without a scientific explantion.
I agree those orbs were just dust but they looked good though. I can reprouduce that effect by shaking a towel and filming below.
On the other hand the cold spots were unexplaned and the skeptics comeback was naf, especialy where he seemed to blame the tool.
The voice was not to convincing as it come from anywhere but if I had seen house and understood the acoustics perhaps that may well be her best evidence.
I would say that the skeptic was to closed, the beleiver was to open, especially with the orbs and the women was genuine 100% but her haunting is going the same way they all do because there is no balance to the argument.

That's not my impression of how he understood the situation. He seemed to have little grasp of the factors involved and came across as Philip Schofield lightweight TV personality.

He didn't write anything of because it sounds weird. Best place to be.

He didn't write anything off because the programme researchers didn't brief him on how easily people are fooled. Do you know how ordinarily uninformed TV presenters are?.

The skeptic seemed to closed to anything without a scientific explantion.

I know Chris French personally and he's one of the most open minded sceptics I know - to the extent that I think he's too open minded.

I agree those orbs were just dust but they looked good though. I can reprouduce that effect by shaking a towel and filming below.

So does that not ring alarm bells with you?. Does it not say that if they're getting this wrong they're possibly flawed in their other conclusions?.

On the other hand the cold spots were unexplaned and the skeptics comeback was naf, especialy where he seemed to blame the tool.

As Chris French said - a snapshot opinion and snapshot evidence is no evidence at all. All kinds of misinterpretations could be wrong with their temperature data. I could duplicate those temperature fluctuations quite easily and I wouldn't need no ghost to do it.

The voice was not to convincing as it come from anywhere but if I had seen house and understood the acoustics perhaps that may well be her best evidence.

The Celine Dion voice was quite obviously the mic picking up someone elsewhere singing. Only an absolute moron would assign that to 'da ghosts'.

I would say that the skeptic was to closed, the beleiver was to open, especially with the orbs and the women was genuine 100% but her haunting is going the same way they all do because there is no balance to the argument.

The sceptic was only putting forward more rational, more likely explanations Agentscott. There was no 'closed' to him only 'likelys'. The Sparrownormal Investimagator had made his mind up about the 'ghost' before he even stepped into the property and his ghostbusting kit only proved his expectations. That guy is to proper scientific paranormal investigation as what Gazza is to tea-totalism. He's a joke.

Adendum - I meant 'mind' not 'mid'...do'h Crying or Very sad

Well, he already obviously believed 'orbs' were supernatural manifestations of spirit and that temperature drops were associated with the appearance of ghosts . Pretty conclusive to me Cactus. These people got into paranormal investigation after buying the boxed set of Most Haunted DVD's and doing their finals by watching T.A.P.S on YouTube.

They're a f*^$ing joke IMO.
