Come on Flossy Cactus imidatly tried to make him look stupid on Skylord very first thread and after that he was basicly interigated out.
I enjoyed his posts for the breif day they lasted before he was driven away. |

As Flossy has said Skylord wasn't jumped on Feebs. He made certain very confident claims which were challenged in a reasonable manner.

What do you expect those of us with different beliefs to do Feebs - blindly accept every claim that new members make?. Are you saying we shouldn't ask questions when extraordinary claims are made?.
No one held a gun to Skylord's head, he wasn't bullied, abused or made a fool of - he was asked a simple question which, if he genuinely had the abilities he claimed, he should have been able to answer.
For example, if I came onto a forum of which you were a member and claimed to be able to heal any kind of Cancer - would you want proof or would you believe me?.

Quite right I agree fully. We also have a duty to provide some balance. This is an open forum with lots of lurkers, some of which will be children. Some of those children will be young and impressionable. It's important in my opinion for children to see alternative points of view and irrational claims challenged so that they can form their own conclusions as to whether spirits actually exist or whether they are creations of our own cognitive errors and biases.

| lol..i believe because i have had my own proof , i dont need you to prove spirit are not real to me , but i merely am trying to explain people will constantly say prove this and prove that is real when you cant prove it is not real..this maybe something we will never definitively be able to prove to everyone in the world as thats the way it is . |

Skylord claimed to have three spirit guides who he was in communication with. From my experience, spirits are not bound by our physical laws. I asked a question that if answered correctly would have proved fairly conclusively that Skylord was genuine and that the spirit world is a reality.
He didn't and what's more I predicted his response because I know that no medium, psychic or mystic has yet convincingly been able to prove they are in communication with the dead. I am however open to the fact that this may one day be proven and when I see compelling proof for this I will amend my stance.

D B Sweeney, i agree here you are totally right in your explanation but there is no way of proving he can or cannot converse with spirit without actually meeting him im afraid , i have enjoyed reading all posts on here and am hoping to contribute but i am unable on a forum to provide proof i have a connection with the spirit world as it does not work that way for me .
I wish it did as i would gladly show what proof i could to be analysed .
i think with skylord he had trouble with wording things and im pretty sure English was not his first language so therefore he came across over the top and preachy .
you all seem a great bunch of people and i hope we can continue to post and debating like i have previously read as there is lots of interesting stuff . |

I've been researching and investigating the paranormal for decades and I still don't have all the answers which is part of what makes it a fascinating subject. I also know how mediums work in great detail and I doubt that Skylord would have convinced me even in a face to face meeting - given the conditions I would have asked for.
Would you agree to be tested and analysed under carefully controlled scientific conditions?.
