Why does death have to happen?
I know that the human body will eventually get tired and wear out - hence death by old age.
But what about all those who go way before their time?
Why does it happen? and why could their young bodies not be saved?
I ask this because every person i've lost so far has been somebody young, and i can't get my head around why they had to go.
Please bare with me while i tell you their stories.
HOLLY:
I lost my friend Holly Maria Blake on May 21st 2004 - just 2 weeks after her 17th birthday.
Her death was very sudden and unexpected, she had been seemingly fit and healthy.
On the morning of Friday May 21st 2004, Holly woke up complaining of a headache down one side of her face. She was taken to her doctor who sent her straight to hospital. There, it was discovered that Holly was suffering from a bleed on the brain.
She was rushed into theatre for an emergency operation to try to reduce the swelling on her brain, but while she was being prepared for surgery, she suffered a massive stroke.
Surgeons worked through the night to try to save Holly, but their efforts were in vain and she sadly passed to spirit at around 5pm.
HANNAH:
My friend Hannah Louise Sutton was 16 years old when she was killed in a tragic accident on August 2nd 2005.
Hannah and her boyfriend James (who was also 16) were riding jet ski's just off the coast of Limassol in Cyprus, when (from what i've heard) Hannah's jet ski stopped suddenly and tragically James was unable to avoid colliding with her.
Hannah died soon after the collision from massive head injuries.
SARAH:
Sarah was a little girl who went missing on the evening of July 1st 2000.
She was playing in a field with her 2 older brothers who were 11 and 13 years old at the time and her little sister who was 5. Sarah was 8.
Sarah hurt herself while playing and set off alone back to her Grandparents house, which was just 150 yards down the lane. Her 13 year old brother followed just seconds behind her, he saw Sarah leave the field through a gap in the hedge, but when he reached the same spot just a few seconds later, there was no sign of her.
He ran to the house to discover, to his horror, that Sarah had never arrived.
She was reported missing soon after.
After 16 long long days, her remains were found in a field 12 miles from where she vanished.
She had been murdered. She was 8 years old.
and her full name? (you may have heard of her) Sarah Evelyn Isobel Payne.
I'm not related to Sarah, but i'm a close friend of her family and her death shocked and saddened me deeply.
TERRI:
My friend Terri Packer was just 21 years old when she collapsed and died suddenly on November 18th 2007.
Terri had been shopping at Meadowhall (Sheffield UK) she had left the shopping centre and had just raced her partners daughter back to their car.
When she got to the car she said that her eyes felt funny and she felt dizzy.
She said that it felt as though she was going to pass out.
Then she just collapsed to the ground.
Meadowhall staff and then paramedics battled to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem was inconclusive, which makes her death all the more difficult for us, as they could find nothing wrong with her - her death remains a mystery. |

I know there is a God and that we are here to learn to live a good life. We die in ways that will benefit others even though we don't know why. I know when I die it will be for whatever the lords will will be. I accept that.
Life is so we can learn to live righteously and return to live with God and that this life is like going to school. Once we graduate from here we go to the next level (or grade).. |

So sorry kandi to hear about your losses,x
YB is right, its all in gods hands.Things always happen for a reason. However it does not make losing people we know or love any easier on us.
I too have questioned myself in the past why i have lost people close to me at a very young age.Firstly my best mate joanne, she died of leukaemia at 17,my cousin paul committed suicide at 19,then keith my mate, committed suicide at 16,then mark also a mate, age 16 who died of an asthma attack.I used to think it was my fault for being so close to them,as if everything i touched turned to s***.NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT HUNNI. xxx |

I am so sorry to hear about all your losses (((hugs)))
I do believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe in Karma and re-incarnation. I am sure that they learned and gained much experience in their time here, and their spirit will have evolved even from the short time.
As humans we grieve when someone dies, it's natural to do so. But death in this realm is a spirits birth back in to the spiritual realms.
No one ever really dies, just moves on. |
