Hi people,
Great to have found this site, I'm Roseanna from west of Ireland and have a HUGE interest in all things paranormal. Love watching TV shows like Most Haunted and Paranormal State - except the latter totally freaks out.
Anyway, I'm having my own weird occurrences at the moment in an old house I've just moved into, so will be using the forum for support / advice / information. I'll stress here that as yet there may be a rational explanation for my experiences, hopefully, because I don't fancy selling the house at a loss in the credit crunch...
Glad to make your acquaintance anyhow! |

Roseanna, just read a bit of your blog on your "new" home.
Going to go back and finish reading it, very interesting! |

Thanks for your welcoming messages everyone.
Flossy - I'm trying to err on the side of logic at the moment since I will admit to being very interested in all things paranormal, and this could make me jump to the wrong conclusion - problems with electrics so far, draining batteries, cold room and some noises of doors closing where there aren't actually doors.
Despite this, the house dates back to 1750s so the rational answer says maybe its just a creaky house that needs rewiring. Hopefully that's what it will turn out to be. |

it could be your mind playing tricks on you, unless you have seen or sensed anything in your house, it is an old house you might be right about the wireing too
but like people keep telling me theres nothing to be scared of easier said that done tho i know, every spirit ive seen ive been terrified lol |

Besides your home being built in the mid 1700's do you have any more history on it?
Still, what you have mentioned that is going on in your home sounds pretty eerie. |

Roseanna, would you feel comfortable taking some photos of the inside of the house and posting them on your blog. Attic and basement pics seem to be the best at capturing things for some reason. |

Good idea YB, my digital camera is currently out of action, I tried taking pics with my mobile phone but they came out really blurred, so once camera sorted, I'll upload some images and see if anyone can sense anything or even see anything in them.
You have a very good analytical approach to these things - I'm finding it very hard to keep an objective perspective at the moment. |
