Hi

I am working with a major UK broadcaster on a television series looking into homes which are suffering at the hands of possible supernatural influences.

I am keen to hear from people who are having ongoing experiences with forces beyond their comprehension in their own homes.

If you or your family are experiencing strange sounds, visual apparitions or maybe even suffering physical contact with apparent 'ghosts'or 'poltergeists' we'd love to hear from you. We can speak to you in complete confidence and will aim to throw light on what you are experiencing and help to rid the phenomena from your home.

If you feel we could be of assistance please drop me a personal message.

Thanks - I hope we can help

You can help "rid the phenomena" from their home. Why would you even attempt that? If you are interested in truly helping these people then invest the time in trying to assess each individual case rather than thinking each one is something that must be eliminated. I'm sorry if this sounds rude but there is way to much sensationalism regarding this field by the media. A few succesful shows seem to be close to getting it right but most are to focused on "the supernatural". IMO until we do some re-labeling and re-thinking of our investigative aproaches this field will never be taken very serious and a lot of public opinion lies with what they see on TV and at the movies. serious Ghost hunting is not glamorous, it's not exciting, it's actually quite boring most of the time. Sitting in the dark talking to yourself for hours watching video and then listening to hours worth of audio looking for the slightest whisper. You may catch something every now and again but it's almost never exciting enough to warant any serious response. My advice is keep it real, the more people see what ghost hunting really is the less they fear it and at least try to accept it. Sensationalism needs to stop and serious endevours to document the phenomena need to start. That's my advice don't take it to hard it's just one persons opinion but I'll bet others feel the same way. That does not mean you don't have a good "story", it just means you have to tell it in a different way. Drama sells, leading people to fear that which they don't understand, people running screaming and crying while someone quickly conducts dome sort of ritual to get rid of the ghost work great for ratings but real ghost hunters cringe at that stuff and have a hard time convincing the general public who may be experiencing something paranormal that that's not what we do.
