Hiya,
Thought I'd share one of my paranormal experiences with the group to get your opinions.
A few years back, both my fiancee and I decided to go to a show at a local farm, but bad weather came and spoiled it, so we decided to take Sunday Lunch at the Manor House, as we are lucky enough to live within walking distance from it.
When we arrived, it was packed! The only rooms left for lunch were what we now know as being the sealed room and the room adjacent to it.
We sat down, and the mood and air was light, comfortable and not oppressive at all, in fact, quite the opposite.
As was normal, service was spot on, and the food was delicious, but then things went a little 'strange.
We were in the middle of the main course when I felt what can only be described as a finger firmly running down my thigh.
I looked at Angela (my fiancee) and asked her what she wanted - she looked at me like I had three heads, lol.
I explained what happened, and she said it was impossible, not cos she couldn't reach, but to look for myself; the underside of the table was cast iron, with no opening between me and Angela!
We spent the rest of the meal trying to touch each other under the table, looking to see if there were any drooping bars etc, and nothing, so I believe that I was touched by what felt like a little hand, possibly the little girl thats meant to roam the rooms?
Such a shame though, the Manor House has been brought by the local council and is now a museum, so I doubt there is much chance of anyone being able to investigate anymore.
I will put my other experience in the manor house in another thread. |

Wow, thinking Angela was getting a little friendly
and finding out it was not her!
I find that a bit disturbing.
Have you any history of Manor House?
Thanks for sharing Duke. |

Yeah the manor house has over 200 years of history attached to it, being a coaching inn, chapel, then it made into tenaments I believe in the 1800's, then boarded up, then refurbed, and thats when they came out to play!
The toilets are disturbing too.
Angela has heard clog type shoes walkin around in there when she was alone, and the doors in the gents move on there own, and as anyone who knows how heavy a 19th century oak door is will tell you, a draft aint gonna shift it!
i think you can get some info from here:
