DB is a closed book and needs proff for every thing, should have been a military investigator.

And I suppose you never want proof when people make extraordinary claims Agentscott?. You take everything at face value?. Bloke in pub tells you he got taken to the Moon by space aliens...you believe him...you don't ask him for proof?.

My beleiving is because I know you are wrong. I've seen the ships.
Skeptiks just deny everything and I know you get most of your debunking stuff from the skeptik dictionary.com website. Check your source DB. Laughing

"Seven angels sprung to mind but I might have my stories muddled. Laughing"

Traditionally there are 7 Archangels. But the number varies, depending upon which list you read. The most frequently occuring are: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel.

"I used to prey but havent for ages because I was never answered, never even anything so I decided whats the point and stoped.(i'm not religious, just believe in something)"

My family is mixed Protestant/Catholic. I was brought up the former. My sister and I were made to go to Sunday School as kids. One Sunday [aged 11 or 12], I told my parents I didn't want to go to church any more, because "I didn't believe in God". They were shocked at first, but got over it.

A classic time I would attempt a communication would be if I was in trouble or seeking advice.
I tried with god, angels, then aliens and got zero.(I didnb't belive aliens would be like a god but heard that there was a chance of a communication as they are telepathic. (that reminds me of something coming up I will mention later on)

Due to various things that have happened, esp in the last 10 years, I've had a real 'rethink'. I believe in angels now, and a 'higher power' of some kind.

"On the other hand if prayings your thing and you beleive it works then go ahead, one day you might prove DB wrong. ..........maybe. DB is a closed book and needs proff for every thing, should have been a military investigator".

People talk about the 'power of prayer'. Maybe DB might be stuck by a bolt of lightning? Wink He's certainly not a 'book' I'd like to read. I wonder what category you'd find him under in a library or book shop Question Probably something science-related Smile

My beleiving is because I know you are wrong. I've seen the ships.

You've seen lights in the sky - yes or no?

You've seen 'ships' close up enough to ascertain that they're nuts n bolts technology light years ahead of any technology we possess - yes or no?

Skeptiks just deny everything and I know you get most of your debunking stuff from the skeptik dictionary.com website. Check your source DB.

You're still not aware of what a sceptic is. You're confusing 'sceptic' with 'cynic'.

I get my views and opinions from a variety of sources. From reading hundreds of books on UFOs and the paranormal since I was 12. From investigating, from being out there looking and watching.
My opinions come from a long times study into the subject not just a few internet sites that happen to fit my current point of view.
I've seen both sides of the coin plus the edges so don't say I get my opinions from an internet sceptic site because you're way off the mark with that comment.

I find it odd that I'm criticised by someone who films a star and claims it's an alien spacecraft Rolling Eyes

Not critisising you DB, I just happen to be attempting to make you see the 'light' as you are intent on my sightings being nothing but a few fairy lights.
So a skeptik beleives just maybe but a cynic just says no and correct me if i'm wrong here but don't you always say no, and it's all explanable?
Those catergories are all in the same book to me but next time I will use cynic then.
Perhaps pro debunker is more suitable!

Yes I did see a clear shape in the orange close UFO the night of the third sighting and it droped out of sight in front of my eyes, I will go into more detail another time.
As I said before if it's not aliens it secret tech. Also Cornwall has plenty of sightings around the area I was at and suprise suprise there is military bases in Cornwall. There was also other sightings around that time and area too.

"Definitely a science text book. Laughing"

Question is, which science? Or is that an 'academic' question? He's probably a 'space cadet', so it might be 'rocket science' Exclamation Wink

"So what made you change your mind then Alex?

This will probably make DB[] foam at the mouth, but I don't care. In 2002 I had a car accident. I remember nothing at all about it, as I lost consciousness.

What I did experience, and this had never happened to me before, was an NDE. There was no 'tunnel', but I did 'see' a bright gold-white light in the darkness. And heard a voice or voices telling me everything would be OK. I'd like to think it was some kind of Guardian Angel... . But DB would probably turn that into - pig

The next thing I recall was finding myself lying in the road with no idea how I'd got there. The paramedics and police told me what had happened. The really weird part is that I'd been at school with one of the paramedics. And had lost touch with him after I'd left, about 11/12 years before. Shocked DB would call it 'coincidence'. I would like to think it was fate.

No. I put forward more likely explanations based on what is known to science rather than the certainty that you seem to possess.
I'm open to persuasion - just show me some compelling evidence to support your claims - not a light filmed on a mobile and I'll re-evaluate my opinions.

As I said before if it's not aliens it secret tech. Also Cornwall has plenty of sightings around the area I was at and suprise suprise there is military bases in Cornwall. There was also other sightings around that time and area too.

It's far more likely to be 'secret tech' than aliens and more likely still to be misperceptions and wanting to believe/confirmation bias than 'secret tech'.
There are military bases all over the UK. There are UFO sightings all over the country. What's your point?. The 'other sightings' around that time could be just as mistaken as you are - do you not consider these possibilities before you come to your conclusions?.

Hi Alex

I wondered if you meant Saint Anthony? Everyone thinks I am a little odd but if I lose something I pray to Saint Tony and pretty quickly I will find whatever I am looking for.

Incredible to hear about your NDE - although pretty awful that you were in a bad accident to experience it x

Science (like religion) will never have all the answers. No matter how hard it tries. And books are full of personal perspectives and viewpoints, and, thus, can never be 'definitive'. So I tend to be rather sceptical about scientists' 'motives' at times (and historians too). I always like to know who funds their research, and why. Neither can be as 'objective', as some would like to believe... .

So - if Science and Religion don't have the answers - who does?. The crystal ball?

Never say never; science is coming up with new answers all the time.

Good points; but you cant say all scientists.

I could see that one coming, DB Evil or Very Mad . Even without the ball Exclamation No-one has all the answers, and I think, never will. Not even you.... Although you'd like to think so, I'm sure.

I'm not the one gazing into crystal balls looking for answers Alex you are Rolling Eyes .

Science is our best method for understanding the world around us and the world beyond us. It works pretty well IMO. If you could name one, just one great discovery that has come out of a crystal ball I'll eat my shorts Surprised
