Hello,
Since I m a very good artist and can draw anything.
I usually draw portrait.
In 2008, I drew The joker from the dark Knight
once done I framed it and hanged it to the wall with all my other drawings.
6 months later,(I live in London), a motocycle standing just in front of my window got in fire. I went to the kitchen to get some water.
When I came back to the room, the room was on fire too. there were so much smoke that I couldn t stay in there. I closed the door and evacuated my flatmate.
10 min later the fire brigade arrived and watered the room.
The day after. I went back in what was left of the room. the walls was plain black. but what surprised me, was that right in the middle of a wall, one drawing survived. i get closer to it and removed it from the wall. the paper and the frame was intact and even more amazing the wall behind the drawing was white clean. I looked on the floor and saw some bit of frames from the other drawings. the drawing themselves were gone into ashes.
So I m wondering how come this drawing survived a fire and water from the fire brigade?? |

Did you take any pictures of your room after the fire?
I too am curious how this picture survived.
Glad to hear you and your flatmate made it out safely.
Not sure how I missed your post.
Also a very late welcome to the forum. |

Pure luck. Every week someone manages to predict the exact sequence of 6 numbers that come out randomly from a Lottery machine - the chances of that happening are many many millions to one - but it happens at least once a week.

It would be grand if I could happen across those 6 numbers! |

I think its just down to coincidence, nothing more.
I may not be a good drawer, unlike yourself, but I dont think if i drew thomas the tank engine there would be a rail disaster or even a crash on my train set.
If it was haunted, why 6 months later does something happen?
Not unless of course, the paper or tools used were actually removed from an ancient indian burial ground or something similar. |
