Save yourself a flight and check it out on Youtube
My take on Ireland has always been that it has two purposes:
- It's where Irish people live.
- It's where expatriate Irish take their kids on holday when:
a) The grandparents want to see the grandkids
b) They haven't managed to tarmac enough driveways to be able to afford Spain that year.
Still I'm sure they're a welcoming lot - they must be to make all those commercials begging people to go there. |
Thats a bit below the belt dont you think? |
Yeah, it was below the belt a bit.
We have those type of commercials here in the states.
Advertising what each state has to offer for a grand holiday.
Nothing wrong with that in my eyes.

Yes and everyone in England are like the people who appear on Jeremy Kyle |
By the way, just in case anyone didn't get it - I was being sarcastic here, hence the rolling eyeballs I would never be so ignorant to stereotype an entire nation based on a tv show, but apparently sharlatan is ignorant enough to do it based on a tv advert - he/she is just a provocative, attention-seeking clown |

What I say is based entirely upon a lifetime's personal experience, not anything I may see in the media. |
