Hi i am hoping there are some "paranormal Guru's here who can give me some advice. I am a avid believer in the paranormal and have had several paranormal experiences when i wasa lot younger but just recently i have been experiencing what i can only describe as poltergeist activity. It started a week ago i was in bed at my fiances place. i was laying on top of the covers on my belly just dozing off when i had the sensation of someone suddenly and violently running a finger nail or hard object along the bottom of my foot, it was hard enough i could feel it smart for sometime afterwards. Then two days later again at my fiances house i was sat on the bed doing my hair up near the top facing the headboard. There was a box of chocolates perched on the end of the bed behind me. so i am sat there brushing my hair when one of these chocolates comes shooting passed my head and smashes off the wall...i spent over 10 mins hunting for it and eventually found it about four foot to the right of where it hit the wall right underneath a cabinet. i have also found items moved around the house at my own place so its not just centered at my fiances house. This morning after taking a shower i returned to my bedroom to discover my light and bedside lamp had been switched on. i have also been suffering intermittent anxiety attacks since this started, something i have never experinced before its a contant feeling of dread like something bad is going to happen, i have no reasons to be anxious, the activity more excited me than freaks me out so i don't know why i am feeling like this. Any Advice? |

Keep a writing pad with you and when something happens again, put down the pad and invite the entity responsible to write its name.
Report back when you have a result.
Not holding my breath. |

I'm yet to be convinced that "ghosts" can cause feelings and I would say that the feeling of being anxious may be caused by knowing there's something unexplainable in the house. If the brain can't figure it out, it leads to a feeling of uncertainty and apprehension.
I would also get a pad of paper to have near you and when anything happens, make a note of what happened, the time and date. If it happens over a while you may see a pattern.
Also, if anything "strange" happens, play detective. For example, if you hear a noise, try and track it down. Once you have found where it was coming from, try and see what could make that noise. Is there a heating pipe behind, a loose floorboard, etc, etc. When your foot was scratched, could you have caught it on the end of the bed and perhaps your Fiancé did it (accidently or not). If there can be a normal explanation, it's usually the case. I'm not saying it's that, but if something weird happens, think, what could have caused it in a non-paranormal case.
If it carries on, get back to us. |

Sounds paranormal to me, definitely. The scratching feeling on your foot can be explained (perhaps you caught it on something, or maybe your boyfriend accidentally scratched you) but definitely don't rule paranormal activity out though. The chocolate? That's a different story. There is NO logical explanation for something to get flung across the room like that. If it were outside and windy (VERY windy might I add), then that's different. But indoors? Completely impossible for that to happen normally. |

Sounds like you're winding yourself up into a near frenzy for no real reason. Forget about it and ignore it and it'll go away soon enough...

Don't be to sure floresentshadow, alot of stuff moves around here too so we cant rule out the paranormal on this...
I would love to say there is a rational explanation for chocolates to launch themselves but can't think what would make one do it? Be calm though and see if you can get the ghost/ghosts to communicate with you by some means, call out to them and ask why they are throwing things ect.
Weirldly just a few days ago in the middle of the night my computer powered itself on and woke me, it's never done that before and all the setting are the same as they have always been.

There is a logical explanation for a choclate flying across the room.
SOME ONE THREW IT!
Never heard of a choclate being blown about by the wind before though. |
