dreams of Tidal waves

Hello.
I have a re-occurring dream of tidal waves.
it starts of that im on a beach with my loved ones, and then a siren goes off, and everyone starts to grab their belongings and run up the cliff to safety behind a massive wall.
sometimes i dream that i have left something important behind, and i have to run back to get it, but i manage to catch up with everyone.
most of the time my dream ends with a one loved one on the "unsafe said" of the wall, being taken from me by the wave.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what this could mean, especially as it is reooccurring. i would say i have this dream, or dreams with angry waves in them about 5-8 times a month.
any help would be awsome!

Hi pretty petal, welcome to the forums.
I don't believe dreams mean much, even reoccurring dreams.
I did try and find a reference to your tidal wave in a dream book but found nothing.

With that in mind, I would say that you are worried about loosing someone. A relative or friend maybe? Are you having problems with one of those?

My friend's grandmother is very spiritual and she is especially interested in dream analysis. She is often spot on with mine, and she says that any type of water in dreams symbolises emotion. If the water is calm, its good. If the water is violent, its bad. Basically you will have a lot of negative emotions. If the water is a nice blue colour, light, its also good, and means positive emotions. If its dark and murky it often means crying and negative feelings.
