Part 2
This picture was taken in 1959 by Mrs. Mabel Chinnery apparently no one was in the backseat when the picture was taken. Mrs. Chinnery recognized the person in the backseat as her dead mother whose grave she was just visiting!!! She staked her reputation on the authenticity of the photograph |
Here is another famous ghost which has been in about twenty books and magazines already, including TV.. Many may have already seen this photograph. It is due to appear again in a new book.

Ok.. I'm not convinced that the second pic is paranormal.
Questions... Was the camera digital or film?, Weather conditions? Any direct light glaring on the photographer? |

I do remember this one well, back in Cyprus over twenty years ago. What appears to be a footpath, is in actual fact a three foot wall holding back the sea with the rocks on one side.
My camera was tripod mounted, occupying the full width of the wall using a time exposure. I wanted to take a scenic picture of the bay, and used a cable observing the duration of the shot and that no one would be there. The night temperature was about 27 degrees C. It was a clear Octobert evening about 23:00 and there were no flares.
It was a bit of a shock when I got the slides back from Kodak, and I decided to contact Janet Bord of The Fortean Picture Library, to have the picture studied.
She wrote back, asking me if I was prepared to let then use the picture for various books and magazines.
As far as I am concerned, my name is not important, nor do I care about the money. I feel honoured that a few people will look at the picture, and share with me the authenticity that it deserves.
Of course we are all entitled to our opinion, but if I can shed further 'light'.....I will.

To me, it looks like it is on the opposite side of the banister, facing the photographer (although the "face" itself can not be seen) with its head leaned all the way down to its right arm, which is extended up the banister (although enough so that the shoulder would be disjointed on a living human) and bearing that icy, doe-eyed stare that ghosts seem so fond of. The eyes are about all I can make out of the face as the rest looks shrouded, much like a Muslim woman's apparel. But I could be wrong, D. |
