Hi
I would like you to have a look at these 2 photos and tell me what you think you can see on photo 2.
The background is that my friends wife (who is kinda into this ghosty stuff) works at a hotel in south London that is haunted. She has seen, felt and heard many strange things as have most of the staff.
The 2 images were taken on a samsung phone looking out into the car park. The only lights are the 2 ahead in front of the camera, The light from inside the hotel behind adn a couple of down lighters that are fixed to a canopy above & behind the person taking the pictures.
Pic 2 was taken almost straight after pic 1 without moving the camera/phone position.
Pic 1: Nothing much to see. There is light coming from behind the image and spilling onto the car park floor.
pic 2: WHAT DO YOU SEE?

I see a combination of glare and a jittery camera image. What are we suppose to see?? |

Pic 1 there should be nothing but pic 2 we can see either light distortion on the crappy lens or a woman's skirt dating about the 1800's. There is supposed to be a woman seen fairly regularly and this 'may' be her....or not!
There are lines that look like the folds in a full length skirt coming from where the light is shining at the top of the image (bit to the left) down to the middle of the bottom of the pic.
I'm not saying it's a ghost but it is an interesting image.
Here is the 'skirt part' outlined:

there is light glare in pic1 in the same spot and pic2 has double images and I believe you are seeing a double image of the light glare. |

when you take a photo at night the shutter speed slows down to let as much light through the lens as possible so you can take a clear pic . because the shutter speed is slow when you move your camera even if it is only slightly the picture is still being taken but you moved so the lights will drag like that.
nothing paranormal i think ..
the pic doesn't look like you used the flash or if you did its not a strong enough flash to make enough difference to the shutter speed and focus ..
Im a photographer and a camera geek lol so i know quite a lot about the workings of cameras , 9 out of 10 ghost photos are normally just camera flair , dusts or shutter speed and camera shake .
check out my work :)
