                                | I am curious as to the exact mechanics, because knowing how they work effects one's ability to micro heavily. 
 For instance, in Warcraft 3, all units have a Swing and Backswing on attacks and spells, and the Backswing can be canceled to allow the unit to move before it normally would be able to. In a lot of cases this would greatly reduce the total time of the animation, and allowed one to move while maintaining damage dealt on a target.
 
 So, my question is, how do attack animations, or just animations in general, work in Starcraft 2?
