The Skirrid Inn.

The Skirrid Inn near Abergavenny in South Wales. Is a very haunted Inn. Last year we spent the night there on an investigation. We were in one of the bedrooms and were calling out. When we heard very very loud knocking coming from a airing cupboard, which is situated off the bedroom which also leads to the bathroom. Looking into this cupboard later, we found that all the bedding, towels etc, which earlier had all neatly been folded and stacked, was now all on the floor in an untidy bundle. After the investigation, which was on Halloween Last year, we decided to get some sleep. This was around 4.30am. We had the run of the 3 bedrooms. I couldnt sleep, I was on a couch in bedroom 1. I had someone or something gently blow in my face on three occasions. This old inn was once used as a courtroom, where the well known Judge Jeffries the hanging judge sentenced people to death. There and then they were hanged on the stairwell. A noose still hangs there. It is well worth the visit, plus the scenery is amazing.

this is a well known inn for investigations and everyone i know who's been there has had an expeirience of some sort

But has anyone seen anything? hearing noises and rubbish like that doesnt count - even if something was thrown across a room
