Thinks that go bump in the imagination

I've stayed in many Hotels during my life. Most of them old and sometimes in various states of decay.
Most of them were over 50 or mostly 100 years old and so subject to the oddities of architectural displacement once temperatures cooled at night.
They were also a hotbed of stories and speculation - often ignited by the very guests who frequented the rooms.

These guests represented the rich tapestry of society - some outright believers who saw and heard ghosts at every opportunity and others of the more sceptical ilk.

Now...whose stories do you think stuck in the minds of the Hotel staff and got told an re-told and embellished and made more scary?

a. The man who slept soundly

b. The believer to whom every bump, creak and light effect in the room became a ghost
