Good suggestion Gav. I know the glass won't move with anything but fingers resting on it but it'll be a useful experiment to test the hypothesis.

The amount of energy needed to move/raise or cause the glass to show any form of intelegence would be massive. Experiments of this kind have been done in mainland europe which show that a massive amount of electromagnetic energy was needed to levitate a small frog ( frog was nor hurt). The way this works is by increasing the amount of natural Electro magnetic energy which surrounds the frogs body in order to projuce a large enough fields in which to cause the frog to be repelled from the floor. The amount needed to lift a planchete would be massive! But then stranger things have happened. I don't reall believe these things work very well, I have one but don't use it. To me its all about beliefe structures. If you honestly believe that this method works, then who knows? As for EMF meters...Thats a whole different ball game. Once an EMF map has been produced within an environment, this will show the amount of EMF produced and variations and physical switchers within that space. If during an investigation these Electromagnetic fields are seen to change or fluctuate, this is of interest. But only so long as over media or equipment readings at that time shows relevant back up information. This is why we produce time line documentation. So we can relate evidence to situations later. Only then can we begin to aquire as to whether the situation is paranormal or not. EMF meters can not directly assess as to whether a ghost is there. It is not a ghost meter, simply another piece of equipment. |

I see no reason why the would work. They're just as superstitious as a dream catcher. |

And a Dream Catcher may be equally useless but at least it looks nice.
