It is well known in criminal law that 'rats' are invaluable - in the US they turn states evidence which can be used to convict |

Can you elaborate on that Cactus. I think you've been watching too many American Cop shows. It don't work like that over here.

I could but it would take too long and I would be showing you too much reading material - but I have read biographies of many mafiosa and have a good idea how strong witness testimony is - big example is henry hill - who the film goodfellas is about - the capo of the mafia crew he was connected with was imprisoned on his testimony |

Cactus, those cases are years old. The Justice system in the UK has moved on and was never a direct mirror of the US justice system.
C'mon, let's be realistic.

basically it is arguable either way - a lot of psychologists argue witness tetimony is unrelaible for a variety of reasons, but it is still vital in courts globally including the UK
you want to be realistic in regard to UK Justice - read about internment northern ireland 1971 |

It's still used in Courts - It's not vital.
1971 is another country Cactus. Don't cite special pleading with Northern Ireland. That was a mess. It's now been sorted. Good men died for what?.

Good men died on both sides Cactus. I had close friends die in Newry & Crossmaglen at the hands of the Provos. To what end - Martin n Gerry eventually going on the payroll?.

well I have my suspicions about Martin (possibly the fisherman) being another stakeknife (freddie scappaticci) - but Gerry is the real deal - he is now a TD trying to sort the free states economic crisis among other things
but this is the first time nationalists have been in Government (in our own country) so its a good thing
i dont agree with or support the dissident republicans
Before this did i mention i was from Newry? i cant remember saying that - yeah crossmaglen was a no go area for you lol - Im on the other side; I know many ex-active members of the PIRA from crossmaglen (friends dads/uncles etc...) and heard many stories
as for your poor friends - look at this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/760510.stm
In an interview for Brits, a paratrooper who came on the scene to give the victims first aid cast doubt on the original version of events released by the army.
He asked the SAS why they had failed to stop the loyalist gunmen on their way in to the McAlliskey home.
"At which there was a pause and then he said 'we must have been looking the other way' which did for me," he said. |

But back to this UFO - some people are now claiming this UFO was not a hoax, but in fact just a yacht and the beings on board were just the passengers - sounds stupid to me.

I don't believe it was a yacht. IMO it is a hoax.
