Well alittle boring compared to my sightings but it looks authentic.
I would say real and actually that might have been simular to the catus UFO as it was white.
Was this really 'cigar shaped?', perhaps it was a bad angle and infact rectangular. Hold up a cd flat to your eyes and watch as it looks super thin. but is it cigar shaped...no.
Great daytime sighting though. |

Unfortunately there's no point of reference in the shots to gauge the size or distance this object is away from the camera or even if the commentary is really in real time with the close up of 'the object'.
As far as I can see it's just a white dash in the sky - could be anything, camera lens artifact, kite, weather balloon, star, satellite, optical illusion, hoax. There's nothing conclusive in that clip apart from something white against a blue background.

Just wondering what it is that actually makes a good vid to be used for evedence these days?
HD 1020p footage only including a signiture signed by the aliens including a witness cross checked over by a unbiased third party before being accepted as definatly in the sky!!!! |

im not sure any video would hold up as evidence, theres so many hoax's out there
i would like to think there is other life out there, its too big for there not to be
but wether they are visiting us is a different matter, i would have to see it for myself
seeing is believing or so they say |

no this wasn't like the UFO I saw - mine you could barely make out the outline but just one light in the centre |

You're spot on Flossy, You will see one eventually if you look, then we will have the Flossy UFO too!
It sounds like i'm talking about lengthy star watch sessions but i'm not, loads of people just keep an eye on the sky given the chance and get results. Perhaps you will peer out of your window one night before closing the curtins and see something or maybe a quick glance getting home from work?
Imagin if all the people on this site who are posting arranged to look at their bit of the sky for one hour all at the same time,(thats alot of sky coverage) perhaps someone could get a sighting and better then mine! |

As Flossy quite rightly says - video footage, no matter how good, will always be open to the possibility of being faked - UNLESS it's close up footage of obvious technology and it's been filmed on multiple cameras/phones from multiple locations with a large number of unrelated witnesses whose stories all basically tell the same thing, preferably in a built up location such as over a city.
Perhaps then footage of allegedly alien/exotic technology will be taken seriously

Very true Cactus. Seeing is believing is a generalisation that in relation to the paranormal is not a good maxim for the evaluation of a given phenomenon.
One mans ghost is another mans light effect

Oh yes Cactus, I forgot about that.
DB, quite a list of criteria then.
To think I had an oppertunity for filming a close UFO, I was the other side of a feild about a footie pith or so away from a large orange UFO.
My stupid sat nav on my phone that didn't help me atal get there killed the battery one hour after arrival on my holiday and that was my 8.1 camera. OK it's only a crapy little Sony but it would have been fine.
Worst sat nav in the world. |
