Can the Mods take a firmer stance with members who resort to abuse and personal attacks?. I've seen members posting quite abusive remarks and subtle personal attacks recently. I know this is a fairly relaxed forum but there comes a time when Mods must nip certain trains of comment in the bud with a friendly but firm warning.
Thanks.

c'mon DB - I'm starting to think you too are a giver but not a taker
You're a big boy - you should be able to take a little abuse on an internet forum |

LOL
You're right I think. A subtle warning from the Mods may be in order before things start to get out of hand might be appropriate.
There's no need for insults and digs IMO otherwise if no MOds step in I'll just go bookwang and end up getting banned.

i couldnt agree more DB
but rather than giving someone a ticking off in the forum i tend to do it via PM
so just cos you cant see it, doesnt mean its not getting sorted |

Why shouldn't other members debunk posts made by members?. As long as it's done without insults I see no reason why certain posts should not be challenged.
Rude, smarty pants comments. I agree but maybe you should fight back with a bit of fire in your argument and support it with some credibility?. I'm not aiming any of this at you Agentscott - just generally to all members who may have issues with other members replies.
Cryptic responses? - cryptic is in the eye of the reader.
I've not yet seen any stupid oversized text that has offended me, then again I don't read all posts.
Parading of comments? - not sure what this means.

Sceptics will be debunkers to a certain degree in that they will offer alternative, usually more rational, explanations.
No guilt on any of my posts by me. I like to think I'm honest and open about my beliefs and opinions.

i think its always good to have a mixture of both believers and skeptics on a forum like this
both can make some very good points to the topics |
