Is anyone here looking at the ULF frequency range?
I know work has been done to look at ULF (Ultrasound) but is anyone using a ULF reciever & if so what type?
For those who do not know, Ultrasound is described as a signal at below 20hz...Human hearing at it's best goes from 20hz to 20Khz,but most hear a smaller range & hearing frequency range decreases with age.
At a slightly higher frequency the earth is known to produce signals called Howlers 7 Squealers, these are at the top end of the hearing range at around 3 to 5 khz. One source for Howlers is known to be lightning strikes, especially Intracloud & return path & the signal is descending in frequency & lasts several seconds.

there is a voice recorder which claims to record down to 15hz.. called RT DAS EVP. apperently it can record to this level. however some people say it will not... but alot say it does... alot of mixed reviews. however the kit is exspensive 150£
i have this myself it sure does produce evps... and can here sounds from next door easy... so using this device does need to be in a controled manor so you dont get faulse positives. |
