I had lots too, kids set up a base down the road so I can't really avoid all of them showing up. I normally give 50p each. Im a little bit soft with it as when I was their age I used to go trick or treating too. In my day our costumes were just pulling coats over our heads, a blanket or a bin liner cloak. We used to knock every where and didn't expect sweets as they do now, cash only!!
Im not sure on this but these days I think it's more of an event, like in the US. |

when we went as kids we used to get money too
its only in recent years its turned to sweats, hardly anyone gives money now
just as well like the amount of kids that come round it would cost a small fortune lol |
