Aliens : are creatures, or beings that allegedly come from outer space possibly from other planets, galaxies, universes or even different dimensions. They are sometimes referred to as extra-terrestrials. Some persons claim to have had encounters with aliens or beings from other planets, some individuals also claim that they have been abducted by them

and obviously if they manage to cross the vast expanse of space to pay us a visit, they have extremely superior intelligence to us, with highly advanced technology and most likely an advanced understanding of why we are here, what happens when we die etc...

there is most likely other aliens in the universe who are not even as advanced as we are - possibly creatures without intelligence

then there are possibly aliens with civilisations millions of years old who have colonised entire galaxies etc...
