As we work nights and workshop staff are unavailable, we take to carrying out repairs to our own trucks during the shift to keep them on the road and legal, many times driving into the body shop or work shop when theres room to carry out tasks.
Its not unusual to be fixing your vehicle and to be aware of footsteps in the room or to actually see a pair of feet if under your truck, or to see some one in the corner walking by, usually in full high vis(again, this is believed to be frank), and ive even been asked on occasion to keep some one company while they have been carrying out repairs. Nothing harmful has ever happened to any one on there own though.
Another occurance is that frank didnt like smoking and if your having a crafty cig in the work shop while sourcing parts etc, its not unusual for the glowing end of the cigarette to be not there when you take a puff. Ok, it could be dodgy cigarettes, but its happened 3 times in a row with myself(essentially lighting up again when one goes out) which could indicate a faulty packet, but the glowing embers arent found on the floor.
Hope ive not waffled on too much with the last 2 posts. I hope to be emailed a copy of the "interesting" evening soon and would like to post here. Needless to say alot was found out and info about a few deaths and former workers at the site . |

Interesting experiences Carlos that could have perfectly natural explanations but due to the stories that have grown up about Frank you might be incorrectly attributing odd but normal events to Franks ghost. Ghostly experiences can seem unexplained but that doesn't mean they are ultimately unexplainable. Then again you might be right it could be Franks ghost. Be interesting to see what 'the medium' found, however I'd be very wary if this person knew in advance of the location since it would be all to easy to research the location in advance using a number of methods and 'do a Derek'.

intersting story, but i agree with DB if people know of a place being haunted there more likely to blow thing out of proportion, but then again they might have good reason too, who knows? |

I have ofton thought about it myself if they did indeed do a "derek"
The chaps fiance and daughter were the mediums, he had only worked for us about 2 months max and we did mention about strange experiences, when they did walk round they mentioned things that wasnt told including the location "where the children hide"
The present owners father had retired although can be seen now and then and i managed to ask him and give him some names which were noted on the night. He confirmed names and recent uses of the mill and i also asked if his father was a practical joker, this was also confirmed and the now ex employee and his fiance and daughter, were unaware of that fact prior to the evening.
Definatley not ruling out a "derek" but some things did tally up when investigated afterwards.
Definatley on the border line of sceptic and believer. |
