Ok, here's a weird dream for you, and of interest on several points.

I had a dream once, many years ago. I must've been in my early teens thinking about it. Anyway, it wasn't a bad dream, I was swanning around with a group of people (didn't know them) in a flying boat car type thing (how cool's that?) Anyway, the dream was fairly sensible until three things at the end.

1./. I vividly remember us in a harbour area. Didn't recognise the place, but knew it was Venice. At this point I'd only ever seen pictures of the waterways, and never the harbour. A few years later I saw a picture of the harbour, EXACTLY as I'd seen it in my dream. Astral projection, or coincidence? (I'd definitely never seen the picture or view before)

2./. as i was about to wake up I panned back from the scene. Imagine flying up and backwards from somewhere, that's what I did. further evidence of astral projection (returning to body) or just me being weird?

3./. and this is the one you'll not find in any books......

as I was flying back and away from the scene, credits started rolling as if it was a film! No, I don't recall what they said, I just remember (in dream) thinking to myself that it was a little strange.

Any thoughts people?

Wow!

The credits at the end do sound a bit unusual!

Interesting.. could have been seeing into the future or maybe you saw the image someplace before and just never put the pieces together. Either way.. still interesting...

Your description is pretty standard for a SOBE (Spontaneous Out of Body Experience), you will also see these happen with many lucid dreams in which the dreamer takes control of the dream and in cases can turn the LD into an OBE.
Anyway enough of that, when you "panned" the scene did you make a conscious effort to do that before it happened? In many cases I have seen and had I find the dreamer or traveler able to control what he/she is seeing and in many ways you may not imagine. I had a similar experience several years ago in which I was over an island, I wanted to see if from farther off and instantly I was hurled above the peninsula.

As for credits, you will find at times genuine OBES and dreams will bleed together, that's why you have so many skeptics who think they are all just dreams. IMO there is a middle point in the frequencies responsible for the continuation of the experience and those of sleep (Delta) which may result in some serious bleed over from each state. Unless you have had this happen the above will make little sense.

Keep us posted on your results.

No, one minute I was in mid dream, next I was panning back. Funnily enough, it was just as someone unwanted was trying to board the boat (as I recall)

All i remember after that was flying backwards into the sky, then fading to credits, then waking up thinking it all a bit odd.

To bad you couldn't make out the credits.
I'm curious what they were.
Question

You're curious?

I'm dying to know who played the part of me!

Just a guess but I'll bet you couldnt even read those credits? Most of the time you will find that it's hard to read in these types of experiences, I'm not sure why though, maybe because there realy is no actual words it's just there as part of a memory that your brain thinks might look good there.
