Me again... I hate seeing things that others don't see. What the hell is happening to me?!
I sometimes see outlines of humans(sometimes not so human).
When I look at someone, and he/she is standing infront of a light-colored background, I see different colors coming out of him/her.
Ugh! I hate it! They don't occur often but man! I hate it!Ofcourse, I told my family and friends about it but they wouldn't f****** believe me!
These things doesn't frighten me, it just annoys me... a lot... (sigh) What can I do? |

Seems as if you can see peoples Auras.
That's cool.
Under The Occult you'll find Auras, maybe that may give you a better understanding.

When you say "not so human", what exactly are you seeing?
Apparently it is not a human outline, can you describe it to us?

ok so tell us about the one with the long tongue that can suck a baby out of a pregnant women. Is that the same on as tic tic ?
Mananngal can seperate it's body from it's legs if I remember right.
A phillipino once told me her husband went out to a mango tree at night & saw a hairy man sitting in the tree, with red eyes smoking a cigarette ? |

Yup DooM, you're right.
Tictic has that long tongue which sucks the baby out of the mother's womb. The mom would just wake up in the morning with their bellies deflated and the old people would say that the unborn child had become the tictic's meal.
Manananggal(that's the correct spelling)It's name is derived from the Tagalog word "tanggal" meaning remove. At daytime, they're just like ordinary people except for their foul odor which smells like blood and rotten flesh but at night the upper part of their body seperates from the lower half. They eat the livers of animals, but mostly humans'. They especially love the smell of newborn babies and young children. They attack pregnant women too. Garlic can repel them but the only way to kill them is to put salt on the lower half of it's body so that it can't connect the upper half, that way, the daylight can burn it before it transforms in it's human form.
DooM, the hairy man with red eyes sitting on a tree while smoking (actually) tobacco is called a Kapre. It's also very huge if the Filipina forgot to tell you. They only appear at night (well, most of this creatures only appear at night). They love making fun of passers-by and they spit on them. Beautiful young ladies, such as myself... ahemm (just kidding!), should watch out from them because if the kapre falls in love with a girl, it takes the girl away, brings her to his home (don't know where that is) and will never return her. I forgot how to defeat it but it's at the tip of my tongue.
Some dwarves are bad, some are good, but mostly... they're bad. Their personalities differ so I'll just talk about them next time.
(Whew! This is hard work!)
There are still a lot more but I promise I'll tell them next time with my experiences included.

That description is so damn accurate ! perfect !
I'm glad you could remind me fully & share with others. It's absolutley fascinating I thought when I was told the stories. Most people wouldn't even have a clue as the creatures aren't popularized in films etc.
Thanks Kiba. By the way being nosey. How old are you ? You mentioned a school or something in another post about a vampire ? I only as from the way you write you're posts, not that there's anything wrong about them, they seem of someone young - late teens ? I ask as I wondered what the view was with younger Vs older people on these beliefs in creatures. Speaking to the Phillipinos that were in there 30s they were frightened of these creatures like it was no laughing matter.
Also there is one that makes a noise llike a bird or an owl ? tictic again ? on night shifts with a phillipino at work we had the window open on a couple of nights & could hear this noise & she would become very worried. Another women who was pregnant swore she could hear tictic outside the window. I can honestly say I believe. |

So, these creatures are not confined to the Phillippine Islands?
Interesting.
It mirrors the travels of the Chupacabra. |

I think it would be naive of us to believe that, in a world thats billions of years old, mythical (?), mystical (?) and paranormal (?) creatures would stay in the same place. Surely as humans have travelled the globe so have the various beings? |

Your right Twirly, as people from other countries move to yet other countries their religious beliefs and their beliefs in mythical and mystical creatures also come along with them.
Just like the Chupacabra it is said to have originated in Puerto Rico.
As Puerto Ricans traveled so did their folklore of the Chupacabra.
Sightings in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba Mexico, Florida etc.
