Ghost in my house??

Ok I was taking some pictures of my dad in front of our Christmas tree on Christmas eve and in one I saw what looked like a spirit or an entity. I do not know because I dont know too much about this stuff so I figured I would ask people who know more than me because all I know is stuff that is shown on TV haha.

I took 2 pictures within 10 seconds of eachother and I didnt change any settings or anything on the camera. I had flash on to.

And here is the second.

If Im just going crazy or blowing it out of proportion I am sorry.

First off, welcome to the forum Ethan.
There are quite a few folks on here that can give you some great advice on your pictures.

Welcome to the forums Ethan. Western PA here.
At first I thought something might be in front of the lens but after looking at the picture, whatever it is seems to blot out the bottom of the window while leaving the tree and your dad transparent through it.

Is there history of spirits in the house or any other kind of ghostly stuff happening there?

Actually ya. My older brothers got deep into drugs(Cocaine, oxycotton etc.) and they have been acting very weird.(Thats what drugs do though I guess) But not much later my one brother always complains about his room being cold. Even in a southern california summer. And sometimes when Im home alone I hear our upstairs fan turn on. And I am always a little creeped out when Im home like I get that feeling someone is watching me.

Interesting to be sure. It appears to be a cast shadow however it is not consistent with a natural shadow. I have seen similar results with objects verry close to the lens I can not say what you caught here but nothing ruled in or out is my say on it.

Ya it is pretty interesting. My dad is talking about having some investigators come in and see whats up. Anybody have any suggestions for people for us to call in in the LA County area?

Do an internet search on the subject for LA, you will find them if they are around. I know California is known for ghosts so there has to be some paranormal investigators around.

Daft question, but could it be something very close to the flash? Obviously the object wouldn't show on a picture, but it's shadow might.

Well the camera I was using the flash pops out at the top and I was holding the lens from the bottom and there was nothing else around. Ill take a few more pictures and show you and I will deffinatly keep you posted on whats goin on or if it was just a shadow or what.
