Back to top Angelwings Joined: 11 Jan 2008 Posts: 120 Posted: Fri Jan 11, 2008 6:23 pm    Post subject: your so right,ppl with deformaties like these were often looked down upon and thought to be the result of the devil,i mean what kind of life would they have had,most ppl not so many years ago too,couldnt get work and often had to make money by presenting themselves at "freak shows" to earn a little money. even today cases of elaphanitis (sp ?) can be a very cruel disease,but at least we have more understanding of such diseases,and certainly most ppl will not look upon them as a result of the devil in any way. ...
