Sky Swimmers
Resembling squid, or small bugs
- they move faster then the eye can see -
but not beyond the perception of camcorders.
Also known as the Roswell Rods, after the first modern discovery,
this very different form of life moves through the air at extreme speeds.
Found in several varieties and various sizes ~ all seem native to this planet.
Underwater explorations have discovered very similar creatures near the seafloor,
but Rods have been captured on video in the clouds, woods, and in people's homes.
Got any snaps of rods? post them here and let us know what you think! |

I have seen on tv, a paranormal programme, which showed rods but only when the video was slowed down, this was in a haunted location, yet have also seen images on tv of rods in the sky, which seem to be a lot bigger. So are they paranormal? or from Outer Space ? Strange one this. |

I first saw footage of rods many years ago taken at the entrance to a deep cave in Mexico when the phenomenon was just being reported.
Since then research and analysis of the large amount of footage taken has pretty much established that these are insects - flying close to the camera lens at high speed (hence the blurring).
Their uniform shape is indicative of the patterns the wings and body would make as it streaks past the camera at high speed.

I must admit, they were very odd when first brought to the attention of the world by the media. Once the footage and some of the equipment that had filmed the Rods had been tested and analysed it became clear that insects of various sizes were the cause.
Parallels can be drawn with the sudden emergence of Orbs when digital photography started to take off. Orbs were hailed as evidence of spirit activity but eventually debunked as dust, moisture and very small insects caught by the flash (in most cases) of the camera which were too small and too close to the lens for the autofocus to lock onto them.

No they're not paranormal nor are they from outer space they're from much closer to home - maggots and eggs. They're not ghosts or aliens or an undiscovered creature like the Chupacabaras or Bigfoot they're insects.
