ive never heard of it myself but if you feel that strongly about it, dont destroy it, put it somewhere safe instead |

Hi Kvagas and welcome to the forum!
If you feel that destroying the picture may have
some influence with the spirit world, why not
keep that picture in the locket and put the
picture you want on top of it.
Just a suggestion.....

Hi Kvagas,
Good to see you again
If you think that by destroying the pic bad things will happen then you'll probably start to see any 'bad thing' that subsequently happens as being connected to the picture - this is called Confirmation bias. If you don't get rid of the photo then there's a strong possibility that 'bad things' will happen anyway since 'bad things' (being subjective) happen all the time but you'll not connect them to the picture.
I don't believe in negative or positive energy in a spiritual sense so I'd dispose of the picture and not worry about the consequences - because there will be none.

Kvagas, I wouldnt want that locket - id give it to a charity shop with the picture still in it - you never know - because whoever put that picture there - it was probably a close relative of theirs, and they could take a dislike to you if you tamper with it - they could think it was a negative action against their loved one in the picture |
