|
|
I have a windows vista laptop and on it I have Norton 360 protecting my computer so windows defender and firewall are turned off because I have been told by computer techs that two antivirus tools should not be working together. But I am getting this alert on windows saying that I need to register my computer for the Vista Malware protection because there is malware on my computer and it could lead to computer crashing or identity theft. However, I ran Norton scans and nothing is wrong. Should I register it or ignore it? This has never popped up before so I don't know what to do. Thank you.

Have you tried hanging garlic around your bedposts and having a gun loaded with silver bullets to hand?.
I'd just ignore it.

Forget the firewall, unistall it and then get Adaware free and keep norton.
Run Adaware every month or so. |
