Well, we'll start with the first....My gran had died 2 months before I was born, while she was living, she expressed that she couldn't wait for me to be born.
Obviously i never met her, but was blessed with having her name as my middle name!
I'd never seen a picture of her, and as I was only 3 when this experience happened, my family had never really talked to me about her.
Anyway, when i was 3 years old, my bedroom was the one my gran used to sleep in. I went to bed one night as usual, but the next morning was a little different, now, i don't remember this sighting but my family do, I came downstairs the next morning, and first thing i said to my mum and sisters was "i saw gran last night" at first they thought i was playing a silly game, but i then went on to explain EXACTLY what she looked like, down to the details of what she was wearing, (which was apparently what she was wearing on the day she died) I then went on to explain a conversation we had, which was about my mum being pregnant, my gran had told me how excited she was to meet me!
I really wish i could remember this, but i suppose my families accounts of it are all i've got! |

Hi Becci and welcome to the forum
Interesting story - I'm not surprised you can't remember at that age. The only ghost I ever seen was when I was 3 too, and I can't really remember it now either. Here is mine:

I guess if you trust your family, you can assume this was real. What age are you now? |

Hi, will have a read of yours in a minute!
Yer, well I cant see why they'd lie about it, especially in so much detail!
I'm 18 now, i'm currently living in a barn conversion which was attached to the house i had my first experience in. There have been many ghostly goings on in this house too, not sure if it's linked to my gran or not though! |

Hi Becci, welcome to the forum
I really wish i could remember this, but i suppose my families accounts of it are all i've got!
Are you saying this is not coming from your memory? (I'd be surprised if it was given that you were only 3 at the time).
I don't want to burst your bubble but you're hearing a second hand account of this and that IMO casts doubt on how accurate it is.
How old are you now?.

Great story Becci, hello and welcome...., of course as DB says your story is second hand but I would say you the story has come from a fairly realiable source...why would family make that up.
Age is unimportant, talk to them about it again and try to remember coz I dont beleive family would lie something like that to you as DB suggests.
You bubble is secure..

I never said it was 'made up'. Age is important because as you well know Agentscott the longer the gap between the event and each re-telling - the more errors are going to creep in. No-one is lying but perhaps mistakes are being made due to the time involved.

becci92, another thing you might consider is memory regression through hypnosis to remember this event - some claim it is valid, others don't - but it is an idea. |
