Well before this happened i had never heard of smoke manifestations so it could not have been something subliminly suggested into my mind. It is ok that people try to disprove this . But i know what i saw heard and smelled. It will remain with me as long as i have the mental capacity to remember it.Again i must make this clear this happened on a number of occassions not a one off. So i am recollecting more than one incident. |

I would like to remind you DB this happened on a number of occassions so i am not recalling a one off event. Regarding the smoke. Once you experiance something on a number of occassions it is very easy to recall The sight sound and smell. |

But this all happened nearly 20 years ago Will - will you accept that your recollection of these experiences may have changed given undeniable evidence we have regarding the fallibility of our memory?.
Or are you going to say that you're absolutely 100% correct in remembering the events of twenty years ago, including sights and smells no matter how many times they happened?.
If you think you have a perfect memory I suggest that you're mistaken - if that offends you - too bad.
DB

Yes but their was no suggestions for me to follow. Nobody else had seen this before me. If you hear hoofbeats dont think horses or zebras go look and see if its a horse or a zebra it might not be either might even turn out to be a donkey. |

Maybe i am lucky or unlucky depending how you look at it Jeepers. To have had so many paranormal experiences in my life over the years not just in that house but other experiances too. The thing is you will always get those who believe you and those that dont.Iam glad that i have found some people who do. |

I believe you Will, I'm just sceptical of your interpretation of it.

Hello Jeepers the most amazing thing i have witnessed and it was also witnessed by another person was the Ghost bus .Now i think DB will have a field day trying to explain this one. Go to google map Wheatley Hill County Durham and to the east of the village you will see the B1279 road. You will notice that the road bends to the left and then to the right as you leave the village to the east. This is because the grass area to the right of this s shape bend used to be the site of Wheatley Hill Colliery.Just after you come out of the s bend you pass some houses to your left. These houses used to belong to the colliery managers.Once you get past these houses the road bends slightly to the left then straightens for about 300 meters where it bends again near to the farm to the south of the road.
So now you have got a picture of the layout i will explain what happened. During the nineties i worked in a factory at Peterlee we worked 2 shifts one of them being 2pm till midnight. One night i was driving home with a work collegue who was sat in the front passenger seat. We had turned right onto the B1279 and were heading west towards the village we were on the straight part of the road when i noticed a bus turning left on the first part of s bend just leaving the village. At this point i did not mention nor did the passanger mention the bus to each other. The interior of the bus was lit up and it had the old fashioned number and destination signs also luminated on the front. As you can see by the road layout their is a blind spot where because of the houses for a few seconds anything coming the other way goes out of sight.
As we came around the bend and back in view of the road NO BUS. At that very momment my passenger said "where did that bus go" to which i replied "You saw it too" So we both saw the same bus and both witness the bus dissapear.Strange but true. |

Interesting story there Will - I am sure DB will come up with a few explanations anyway
I have heard similar stories before of ghost cars, buses, trains etc... The bus was most likely a residual type - like a replaying of the past. |

Thanks for your reply Jeepers. I have a theory that everything is made up of differant frequancies. Best example is radio. Everyday we are surounded by sounds of differant radio stations but unless we have a reciever (radio) and tune it into the right frequency we can not recieve the signal ie music.By changing the frequency. We can hear other signals.I think that life and death are just 2 differant frequencies while we are alive we are tuned into one frequency and when we die we enter into another frequency.I think sightings of people or objects occur when something effects either the transmission or the recieving of the frequencies we are picking up.I am hoping that by hearing of peoples experiances i can research this theory. |

Thanks for the story Will and the detail. I've looked at the area you clearly indicate on Google Earth and understand where you were in relation to the Bus - I think .
I suspect the Bus simply turned into one of the side roads and went out of sight behind the houses.
Thinking rationally - how can glass, rubber and metal materialise and de-materialise?, it's not physically possible. I can slightly understand the concept of ghosts and spirits but non biological objects that were never 'alive'?.
So which is more likely - you saw a ghost Bus or you both saw a real Bus that simply turned off the road?.

Hello DB i deliberatley left out the side road as i thought you would bring it up. It is too acute for a bus to turn 320 degrees in one go and infact if the bus did turn into this road it would have took that long i would have had to stop to allow it to turn. If you ve got street view on google map place the man on the road and you will be able to get a ground level view. Once you see the layout of the land you will see it would be impossable to have turned a bus round in the time it took me to get their. Remember i was about 300m from the spot and traveling at around 40 mph.The bus would have had to turn and drive out of view in seconds. So that leaves 2 possabilitie 1 What we saw was the fastest bus in the world driven by the greatest bus driver of all time. Or 2 What we both saw was a bus dissapear. |
