I opened my kitchen drawer and my spatulas are melted....
I had a few odd plastic spatulas that my Mom had bought for me. 2 were melted together, the other one was on the other side of the drawer melted and stuck to the bottom of the drawer, I had to scrape it off.
If I had any sense I would have taken pictures. But I was just pissed off and threw them straight in the garbage.
Wrap your head around this one DB. :D |

I don't know! I had an empty plastic bag in there and that was fused to the 2 that were stuck together. They're all different. Nothing is wrong with the rest of the utensils. The drawer itself is clean and dry. Just your typical cutlery drawer. |

Well it's where to put something like that. Nothing fantastic has happened in ages now it's just weird random things. Like stuff showing up in the house and we have no idea where it's come from. How do you catch something like that?! LOL! |

Well, the only thing I have at the moment is a little digital camera. I don't know how much a decent video camera would be. Hmmm.. :)

Hehe I don't know if they work or not. But I'm not taking any chances. I don't even record for EVP's or anything. I'm just scared of what I might find. |

Now that is very strange.
Did you hear or see anything strange prior to you
finding this mess?
I too would be ticked off. |

How old are the spatula's?
Define melted, a dry puddled mess or are they fused together in certain areas where they over lapped?
When was the last time you used them? and was it for hot food or cold food?
What has the weather been like in your area and general temp? Have you had the central heating working over time recently? Any pipes running under neath the units in the kitchen?
How far away is the cutlery draw from the oven? The sink, microwave or even the fridge? My kettle is directly above the draw with my utensils, any chance your kettle has sprung a leak or youve spilt a hot drink? Placed a hot pan on the work top above the drawer recently?
When was the last time you put something back in the draw? anything metal? do you let utensils dry and cool naturally or quick dry and throw them in drawer? Other utensils thrown in while still hot from washing could of helped them to soften.
Try and answer these first rather than cracking out a ouiji board or ringing Yvette |
