It was posted on wikipedia once but wikipedia took it down within 5 mins! ... I found plenty about the tale, and your right, no one knows where the origional is. Apparantly one of the images associated with smile.dog was posted on a forum in a hack attack, a majority who had it flash up on there screens suffered epileptic fits. But that is no more sinister that a high flash/refresh rate. Its a picture of a dog, thats been doctored and a case of parodelia within the back ground. Ive looked at a alleged picture and am still alive and well. ...
