|
|
I live in Rotherham England with my wife and now new born daughter. I have lived here for about 4 years and my wife was born here29 years ago and has lived here in this house since. We have never witnessed anything strange in the house before we brought our new baby home two and a half weeks ago. Since then a number of things have happened. First, I felt something pull at the collar of my tshirt twice whilst I was washing the dishes. Two days later I put a can on the bottom of our stairs to take up with me and then went outside. Minutes later it was at the top of the stairs and no one could have gone near it. Next, I was running a bath and went down stairs, when I returned the bathroom door was locked from the inside. No one could have done this. A day later I heard what sounded like wires from our entertainment system dropping to the ground loudly on our wooden living room floor. I went to check and nothing was out of place. Last thing that has happened is I very load squeaking noise from stairs. Both my wife and myself where both in the living room and no one else was in the house. On investigating this the only sound I can make that this could be is if I heavily swing on out stair rail with a lot of force.
I have looked for any normal explanation to these things I can find but many seem impossible. The only change to our house and living situation is bringing our daughter into our home. Has anyone heard of anything like this before or have any theories on what it could be or how to deal with it.
Many thanks. Daniel |

Well if it is paranormal, then it obviously does seem to be happening because of the presence of your new born daughter (congratulations by the way )
Just let things play out and see what happens |

i wouldnt worry unless you feel threatened by it
if nothing happened before the baby arrived then it could just be visiting or passing through
children do tend to see a lot more than us adults so maybe they are attracted to that
you could just try and acknowledge out loud that your aware its there and could you please leave us alone. worth a try
it worked for my mum when we were kids |

Thanks guys. I don't feel threatened as such but it has really freaked me out! Other than asking if she moved my can and the thing on the stairs my wife doesn't know about the rest. I don't think she'd cope we'll with it although I want to know if she's witnessed anything and hasn't said.
What do you think I should do. At the minute I'm trying not to draw too much attention to it but I don't think my wife would be too good at that. |

maybe your wife does know, if she has lived there all her life it could be something that visits often and she,s that used to it she doesnt notice anymore lol
just a thought lol
if you think thats not the case then i would just ask her casually if she has noticed odd things happening but dont make it a big deal of it
do you get cold spots in the house that wernt there before the baby came along? |

Not that I've notice, but not really paid much attention. Actually since the baby has been with us our bedroom we all share is crazily hot at night. Never connected the two. Could that be something? |

usually its cold spots
is it just the bedroom thats hot or you could be over doing it with the heating to keep the place warm for the baby
(i was guilty of that lol) |

I wouldn't rule it out but it does seem a bit over the top just in that one room. |

Yeah you should mention it to your wife and see what she says, as she may be able to shed some light. Really there doesn't seem to be anything to worry about - just keep us informed if anything else happens |

Hi. Its been a good while since i posted on this site and topic. All has settled to normal mostly now other than the occasional odd thing but for a few weeks after my last post more things, mainly sounds of objects moving continued. I never felt any fear towards what ever it was and it gave me a strange feeling on happiness. Its been put to me by a medium that this could have been a relative of ours who has past on who came forward to see our new daughter and still does from time to time. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone heard simular stories? |

If you try to completely ignore anthing odd that's happening I guarantee it will eventually go away completely.

acknowledgement works also, sometimes thats all it takes (worked for us) if it is paranormal
good luck either way |

Im glad things seem to be settling down for you Damashii, although i can understand your concern.
My family and i lived here with spirit for many years, luckily we were not phased by it or hurt in anyway, but it takes a while to realise that both living and spirit can live side by side amicably xxx |
