Last time I mentioned a house where a family member used to live but this time it's about a house where one is currently living. In the house my Mum rents she says that she has experienced things like the smoke alarm going off by itself and smelling someone smoking in the middle of the night. Her next door neighbour has also had the same things happen which means whatever is haunting the 2. Next door lady's mum will not sleep overnight after she had an experience. I do know there is a lot of history on the house. After my Mum found a 1672 Charles II coin while gardening I went round with a metal detector. Found lots of stuff like a latch of a very old door but most interesting about a couple of foot down under the lawn there was an old stone floor broken up and a metal pipe underneath it. I'm interested to know what kind of ghost this could be. The old coin is currently with me after it was too much in a bad state for a museum to take. Wonder if it's someone who hid that coin and now is looking for it after I took it. Very Happy

it could be a spirit from years ago to a very recent one who is visiting
how long has your mum lived there, has this always happened or just recently started?

Hi,

You could do with more concentrating on the history of the coin first. Spirits attach themselves supposedly to objects and finding out info on the period of the coin, and maybe do a little research on property that might have stood on the site before, could help narrow things down.
