Hi all,
Could not be bothered searching for my old thread so thought I'd just post another.
You may well remember quite a while ago I posted a thread about what I thought I saw on the A1 near Berwick a few years ago now.
Well, a few months ago I went to stay in Berwick for a weekend away and happened to get talking to an elderly couple who live part of the year at a caravan park called haggleston castle ( I think I have spelt it right), and I mentioned my experience.
Apparently I'm not the only one to report a sighting there, there has been quite a few down the years, one in particular from a fire crew on a shout.
I believe their account of events as the caravan park they stay at was just up the road from my sighting so thought I would post it here and see if it rings a bell with anyone.
Full apparitions to just a glimpse like mine. The A1 used to be slightly off the track in the exact spot, and was relaid and repositioned in the 70s because of the weight of traffic that was built!ding even back then. The guy called Ken who was with his wife, Doreen, actually stated there was a huge accident on the old road involving a train at the time. They said the story was a few people got killed running away from the accident by an oncoming truck.
Rolling forward to now, I moved back to my house from Scotland and been here a few years.
My missus always thought our house was haunted, however I never had any clear experiences. That has all changed since we moved back.
I shall post that at the weekend when I have more time. |

Sorry guys for some reason my paragraphs have moved when I posted and cannot seem to swap them round.
The paragraph beginning with full apparitions should be above the paragraph starting rolling on |

Thanks flossy.
Yeah made me feel a bit easier in what I saw, but still baffles the mind. I have done that journey many times, both in car and van, and never even come close to seeing an image that resembles what I saw. |

Hi, sorry flossy just noticed your question.
We had two strange things happen here.
Firstly the loft hatch come down in the middle of the night. Its never done it before and never since, what we have noticed though is some tiles needed fixing. A heads up maybe lol?
We have 3 cats, all for no reason quite regularly dart around, bushed up tails etc, peering into the hall and up the stairs for no reason, the female even growls at something that isnt there |
