i have been a tarot reader for 12 years now. My gran gave me my first set, the mythic tarot (and the old version) when i was 8. She never read them herself, but saw them in a charity shop one day and took them for me on a whim. I never bothered with them though, it was all far too complex to me at 8, but sometime around 11 years old, i dug them out again. I had recently at the time begun to research into paganism as i always felt unsatisfied with other religions and this one made more sense to me than any of the others. Some of the books i read, concerned divination and then tarot readings so thats why i dug them out. I began to practise and began reading for myself and friends. It took me a good few years though to be able to make my own definitions on them, but still taking the very basic meanings as well. I read regularly now and recently began reading online professionally. I was concerned with the fact that reading online does not mean the client can choose their own cards, something which was important to me as a reader, so i devised my own number method for it, which meant clients could, by picking a number they were picking a card. I didnt know if it would work though, so i did it for free on various forums for about 2 months, to which i had almost 100% positive feed back. I love tarot reading, and see it more as a form of self guidance but just with myself helping with the interpretation. When i read, all i ask for is a certain amount of numbers depending on the spread, and again depending on the spread, the main area of life that the reading would like to focus on. Sometimes the cards do reflect that main area, other times they dont. I would say after 12 years, there is still plenty to be learned though! xxx |

This card represents how he felt about you when you asked this question, in that present moment. The 4 of Cups card is a card of apathy, usually caused by some sort of distraction. You had indicated that he is in Afganistan – and I suspect that he is most likely in the military(?) If this is indeed the case, or even if it is not, the cards indicate that today he was distractred in his thoughts concerning you. This doesnt mean that it is a bad thing. I know that my mate doesnt think about me 24 x 7, and I dont expect him to. Conversely, no matter how much I care about him, there are times during the day when my thoughts about him are in the background and not the forefront because I need to concentrate on other things.
