"Angie sensed", "Tracey felt as if someone wanted to push her in the back", "Angie senses a settlement was here", "Angie feels the woman's hands were bound" etc, etc.
All subjective feelings based on prior expectations and confirmation biases. How do we know that Angie didn't have prior knowledge of the location, it's history and prior ghostly encounters?. In a nutshell we don't.
Ghost hunts like this are evidentially useless but a lot of fun for those taking part - are they contributing anything to our understanding of ghosts - No. Do they tell us about errors of logic, human perception and various logical fallacies - Yes. |
