Hey World of Ghosts! Thanks for having me!

I'm a producer on Ghost Whisperer the TV show and we had some questions we thought that you might be able to help us out with! Thanks in advance for your responses. We are very interested in your interest and involvement in the spirit world.

* What is it that you want to know about ghosts and the spirit world that
you don't yet know?

* What haven't you seen about the spirit world on tv, in books, or feature
films that you would like to see?

* Why are you hooked into the spirit world?

To answer your questions..

1) I want to know if it's true that time stands still for the spirit world?
Has anyone asked a spirit what year it was and got an answer.

2) What I havn't seen on TV is actual investigations that were not part (made for TV), I want to see the real thing, boring or otherwise, nothing added for "effect"

3) It is the living side of death so to speak, There are no 'experts' in this field because the only ones who know's the truth are dead... I want to know what it is like without having to die first.

Sorry YB gonna answer your question about time if you don't mind lol (or try as best as my understanding goes) it's not so much time standing still, rather than a different perspective on what we view as time, a decade on earth can pass like a second in the spirit world, they just have no need to clock-watch the way we do and don't have the physical restraints of an aging body to worry about, therefore in the spirit world (the one place we can be sure of going at some point) time is irrelevant and as we become spirit again, we also have no need for age or years or time. I think that some spirits appear to us in a recognisable form though, to help us identify them and others who are not personally familiar possibly identify themselves by manifesting in a form that was familiar to them in life. Hope that makes sense lol

But back to the op as a rare tv viewer I cannot comment much on that medium, and all can really say is what I've seen so far in movies is that most spirit/ghosts seem to be those who are unaware they are dead and have to come to realise it (The others, sixth sense etc) or also to deal with unfinished business (I caught a few episodes of Ghost whisperer when it showed on terrestrial tv, it was good I'd like to see them all!) so I suppose it would be good to look at other reasons as to why the two worlds may meet, why some people are more susceptible and why some just cannot accept it, but rather than the standard "person who has seen ghosts all their life" have characters who would normally be sceptical and who find evidence that proves them wrong (okay that may already have been done, but like I say I rarely watch tv)

I'm hooked because I'm fascinated by it all and have had several paranormal experiences throughout my life. I would love for there to be real proof of the existence of God (using that name in a general term, I don't go with organised religion - causes to much hatred) and the afterlife, so that everyone would have to accept the truth and then perhaps start living in a more harmonious and beneficial way to each other and the universe we live in.

I'm not hooked on the spirit world, I am just hooked on finding explanations for things that are neglected because they fail to fit a paradigm.

What I would like to see on a television series, would be a group of hunters who are driven by the quest and do not get into dramatics when they find something. I would also like to see the field taken more seriously by the media and I think it has started to be. Unfortunately the media is a double edged sword in this field, to many "holywoodisms" are being used by novices and certain beliefs, rumors, and trends that are damaging to the field are being perpetuated in pursuit or ratings. It's good you took time to ask questions IMO.

what I want to know, is what it's all about, how does it all relate. Is death a re-birth of our full potential in another realm of existance that may bleed into this reality at times? Or are we seeing the past or future due to random or man made quatum fluctuations? we may never know, but this is part of my personal quest. YB is right, I have said it many many times, "There are no Experts in this field, only the experienced."
Unless you have personally seen, heard or felt it, it's not as real or driving for you IMO.
