On the very early hours of Tuesday morning something very odd happened.

I had been dreaming about staying in a haunted hotel for the night with a load of my old school friends ( probably because the week previously I'd stayed at one with my girlfriend)

I dream't it had a cinema inside and as we were watching it, the film switched off. We all left the room and as we did the film came back on. Thinking this was abit weird me and my friend went into the projection room, but as we did we could hear quite loudly a little girl of about 5 singing ,quite badly too. But it was abit creepy singing.

As I got closer to the singing, I started waking up. I could see the light from out side coming through the bedroom door, and the light coming through under the blinds, so I knew I was waking although it was all abit blurry, but I could still here the little girl singing.
I tried concentratinng really hard on the door or clock trying to wake myself to make sure I wasn't still dreaming, and then I heard my girlfriends voice say "What is that weird singing"? I answered her with "I dunno, it's creepy", and then I fell back to sleep for about an hour then I woke up properly.

I didn't think much of it to begin with but as the day went on, I thought about it more . The girls singing and my girlfriend talking to me could of been sleep paralysis, but why did I hear my girlfriend ask what the singing was when she wasn't even in my dream.

So out of curiosity I sent her an email asking if she can remember asking me who the singing was coming from. Initially she said no, but then later responded by saying it does ring a bell.

We talked about it when she got home. She said she could remember saying it, and even said what time. It corresponded with the time I woke up ( 4:45am). She even gave her rendition of what it sound like . It was more of La la la type of singing than words.
She didn't feel scared at the time and dropped to sleep again, but when I woke, my heart was racing.

It could of been someone outside, but a little girl of about 4 or 5 walking down the street at 4:45 in the morning? No sounds of footsteps either which is what you can hear as we live right next to the pavement and can hear people walking by.

Very odd indeed.

Interesting account. It could have been you singing that your girlfriend heard, you may have been unconsciously copying what you heard in your dream, after all you were in that mid point between sleeping and waking.

As DB has mentioned there is a possibility that
you were the one singing.

By all means Paint I am not laughing at you!!
I had a similar experience and it was me doing
the strange talking. (yet my hubby could understand what
I was "saying")

Yet I do remember bits of a dream that
paralleled to what my hubby heard me say.

On this one who is to say.

Thanks for sharing Paint!! Smile
